    I am a nurse going on a 457. I registered with ahpra and have applied for job and been offered the job. I have received email confirming the sponsorship with a trn number and now i have to lodge my application. I am told that I will be contacted and then will be asked to complete medical (£385) as will need full medical as going as a nurse and I will also have to complete police checks ( I have the pack ready to go when they say I can ) I have filled all the paperwork in as requested for the job and part of that was a crb check in australia. the police check i will have to complete here is through Acro. I hope this is useful and sorry not more informative but I am just at the point of lodging my application so not sure of any other things at present! good luck

    <p><p>Clinical nurse educator . I am quite excited ( and tired now) too! They said they would e-mail me the wages information etc and asked who i wanted contacted as a referee but don't know if this is standard etc.. I will let you know!!</p></p>

    4 weeks from when i submitted application but it took me 3 months to get everything i needed! pm me if you want

    I went to an expo and got an assessment of what visa i would need to work and live in australia. sorry I couldn't give you any advice re that but if you need some on hpow to register as a nurse in australia I am more than happy to do that. good luck

    I recieved notification from Ahpra I am now registered there! )) better find a job then!

    my case officer has just asked for confirmation of my 998 and whether this was post grad and if so where did i study for it. If I am unable to show this then 20 hours CPD for the last year. They are not asking for it certified just a scanned colour copy with evidence of the hours for the CPD. I have sent both as have the evidence.hope this is helpful ( my application is with SA Aphra) Marion
