    I have just been granted a 457 visa. My initial applications was on 03/11/2013 and visa granted 03/12/13. All those who have been waiting for some time I wish you the best.

    My passport was in colour hence my suprise when they requested a certified copy. I am a bit miffed coz it has cost me £70.

    I received my letter for eligibility for registration in January this year. My understanding is I have to present myself within the year to AHPRA offices to confirm my registration. However, I am unable to make it to AUstralia by January. Does this mean I have to start the registration process all over again? does AHPRA give an extension? What is the procedure and what do I need to do to keep my application for registration over a year?

    <p><p>How are you? Please can you help with advice? I am seeking registration as a mental health nurse and have downloaded the application form. It seems all daunting. I am now compliling all the required documentation. I sat for the English test that I passed with flying colours. Basically i am stuck especially in relation to the statement of service from an employer. For the past 8 years I have worked as an agency nurse and some of the agencies have closed down. I am sure I can get a history for the past three years but the other two will be problematic. How best can i get round this problem and what do I need to do so that my registration is a smooth process.</p></p>
