  1. It sucks I contacted them for update and I was told that they grant them when it's closer to 9 months!!!!currently granting applications from 17 February, that's typical when it's my turn is 9 months very frustrated.
  2. No Visa yet, I'm wondering if they forgot me...my co has never called me, nor contacted me. When I asked for updates through email I always got somebody else answering...so frustrating
  3. Wow, if I was that lucky I would get it in 3 weeks! Very happy for you, congratz
  4. Thanks a lot! I was hoping that you were approved earlier, lol. I only contacted her once through website and someone else replied, saying I must wait up to 9 months:( Usual story!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I have been reading online and seems that you can't renew...If that's the case just use a family or friend to help you out, say you live at their address and get them to send license over to you. But then change to Oz ASAP as otherwise you could get in trouble.
  6. Congratz to all people granted....DownUndergirl what type of tickets are those? Are they very dear? 6 months 3 weeks and 4 days since I applied and counting.....
  7. That's wonderful news! Good luck for your life down under!
  8. Any Lote/Mfl teacher? I'm an Italian mother tongue with Spanish at Ks5 and French Ks3, heading to Sydney at the beginning of next year. What's the situation like for Mfl teachers in Sydney?
  9. Sutherland Shire it's a great area. My husband is from Miranda, which nowadays is quite expensive. We are looking into cheaper areas such as Engadine (our first choice), Kirrawee, Carinbangh. Engadine is about 40 minutes on the train to CBD, we have friends with young kids living around those areas and they love it, as it's not too far from the coast so it's cooler than inner west during summer. My husband says that by car to the beach (Cronulla) is about 20 minutes.

    Migrant flights...

It looks as if you have a Pr visa and contact Singapore airlines they allow 40kilos (instead of 20) for free. Quantas offer migrant flights but apparently they are a rip off.
  11. Hello all, I lodged my spouse visa on 20th February. We were asked to provide different document, however the 888 form wasn't mentioned in the email. Online it says "recommended", I Would like to know if you provided the 888 or not (if you weren't asked either but online said recommended). Thanks
  12. I sympathise with you all! I'm italian and went to see my family over Easter and everyone is heartbroken! They are upset because at least we see them twice a year now, but very far when in Oz I didn't think they would be so upset, as we already live far anyway. It's made me feel doubtful and scared about the move.... My husband is Australian anyway and we have always had in the back of our mind moving to Oz. We have both spent 17 years in the Uk and feel is time to move. I wish my family was more supportive, but I am still going to do as I don't want to regret not doing it when I'm too old.
  13. Hi everyone I applied on 20/02/14. I checked today and I have been given BC100 (permanent) and link to medical form. Does anyone know the timescale by any chance, after the medical?
  14. Just got email from immi, they need to be coloured and saved as PDF. I'm happy! Saves money and hassle
  15. Hi guys just got an email back from immi: " Is no longer a requirement to submit certified copies of official documents, such as passports, birth certificates or marriage certificates for visa applications. Clear colour copies of both official and non-official documents will be accepted. Please note that all supporting documentation for online applications should be attached as a pdf file."
