Hi we are on the move to Perth this April from Melbourne been here 3 years from the uk .we are looking at area of lake lands can anyone give me some advice on schools and kinder 4 yr old and grade 3 . Also would love to get to know some friendly faces out there

Yes Sandhurst and yep no shops still !! Don't think they ever will. Can you recommend any places near Geelong that is nice family living that is near the coast?

Will be working n Geelong liked the look of Torquay to live children are 3 and 8

Hi phil I am in sandhurst and not found many POMS as yet have you tried the point cook sanitary lakes are I know there is a group down there and the mums often have coffee meet ups , if your wife is interested let me know and I can get there details for you. Myself and husband and children are going on Sunday so look forward to meeting you don't worry u won't miss us we will be the ones running around after a pair of 18 month old twins !!

Hi Jessica Looks like all your questions have been answered. I came over here with 13 month old twins in April and a five year old if I can do it anyone can. I have found it easy to settle with children because u meet so many people. I have also just joined unto a twin group that meet a couple of times a month and have various outings. We live in sandhurst and love it here , and I agree it is like being back at home sometimes living in Melbourne. My son goes to a non paying school in Lyndhurst it is new and very good. But you do have to make sure you look around. I would say the high schools are the ones u need to look into more . Let us know how u are going with your thoughts x Judy

Hi Lisa you are only 20 mins away from where I live in sandhurst if u fancy meeting up for a coffee let me know I am also a newbie so know how you feel in your first few weeks . you will meet a lot of people with the children by all the activities they end up doing !!! Will cost u a fortune tho lol
