hi when i lived in melbourne i worked in bayswater and there was a indoor soccer centre there it was on the street where i worked which was burton court bayswater but it was over 15 years ago so dont know if it is still there on not,you could google it and see. sparrow9999

nothing to sell im looking at buying when i get to oz in march im sending most of my stuff over but will need to buy a car and stuff like that, ill keep my eye open on here then thanks for your help, sparrow

its probably not a problem, but you never know with immiragtion, when my relatives did all mine for me, some got them done at there local pharmacist the others new nurses, one even got hers done at the shopping centre where the jp was at the time but to be honest its not hard to get one sign over in australia so rather than worry about it just get them all to go and get them done at there local pharmacist,it will be less for you to worry about, because i know how worrying it can be as iv just done it all, good luck with the application its along wait but worth it in the end sparrow

hi lala i had a similar problem to you i came back to the uk with my mother to help look after my elderly grandma, after we got back to the uk my mother had a heart attack and had to wait for bypass surgery and my grandma died, whilst all this was going on my pr visa expired. so i thought that was it and i couldnt go back to australia but then i found out i could maybe get my visa back on compelling reasons because i had to care for my mother, so i applied for the resident return visa subclass 155. and am glad to say that i got my pr visa back and now we are just waiting to sell our house so me my partner and my mother can all go back to oz, so i would check out the info on the immi web site or call and see an agent like i did good luck sparrow

that average time at the moment seems to be just over 4 months, so just hang in there,we didnt contact our c/o and ours still came in on the 4 month mark, good luck with your application it shouldn't be 2 long 2 wait now ,

OMG :jiggy::jiggy::jiggy:just got the email from george lombard to say my o/h has his 309 visa, we are over the moon right now. we are now having the champers we've had in the fridge since we put our appilcation in, thanks to everyone who has helped us on our journey to oz melbourne here we come, (applied for 309 visa) applied 1st july c/o asigned 3rd july c/o was dp, meds and police checks put in 22nd july, visa granted 11/11/11 we will never forget this dated

hi sangsm, we did all our documents as photocopies but you do need to get them certified as true copys our photographs we sent originals and they sent them back to us straight away.not sure on the bank savings but i know what you mean i also had to show my savings with me sponsoring my partner i think it so they know if you will have the funds to support your o/h when you get to oz but not sure on that one we are still waiting we put ours in on the 1st july 2011

thanks johny i do hope so, when it doesnt arrive you start to worry if something is wrong. my fingers and toes are crossed for all of us, here's hoping it will be sometime this week, then i can stop stressing about the visa and start stressing about moving yay

still waiting for the good news timeline: application Sent 1st July,2011 Confirmation/CO Assigned 3rd july, CO requested medical and police checks,Meds Done 22nd police check sent off 25th July, now...waiting! :daydreaming:
