just be very carefull we shipped all over stuff over with pickfords on total cover. when we got our stuff the tv was not working went to make a claim told it was not covered as needed to take out mechanical & electrical derangement on top of the total cover so all I can say is read the very small print.

if you have bills to the same address they don't all have to be joint bills

yes i would definately use money corp they are fantastic and no charge so easy to do.

i also went back to the UK after living in oz for sometime and then decided to go back to oz again been back a year now and im off again but this time for good its like they say the grass is always greener on the other side i hope you don't become a ping pong pom like us.

we used sheena at flexicover going one way from UK to oz they do single trip i know alot of them dont do it.it cost us 43 pound for a couple we are going to see if we can use them going back fingers crossed they do

we are going back because we have had trouble finding permanent jobs everything is seems to be on call casual which is no good for us as we want to get a mortgage,plus we are also finding it very expensive over here. u can only live on ur saving for so long before you have to make the decision

hi guys just wanted to know how and if i can get my pr visa label changed before i leave im going back to the UK end of march this year and my 5 year visa runs out in the September can i get a new 5 year visa before i leave and if yes how and where do i get it from.

hi all i arrived in Australia last march and have only worked for three months my question is do i need to do a tax return is there a certain amount you have to earn before you need to put one in and can i do the return before the end of the year as i will be going back to UK beginning of April any advice would be good thanks

iv notice they live in there own little bubble they hardly ha ve any news about what is going on in the world they are also very loud and yes they drink way to much any excuss for a beer also the tv over here tends to dumb you down ok iv had my little rant feel better now

just to let you know if you shipped your belonging from the UK to oz and want to take them back then you have to wait 12 months or you have to pay duty on them when they go back into the UK we just found this out as we wanted to go back and now have to stay a bit longer which is a pain.

i used pickfords they are good it cost me £100 month to store with them in the UK.

hi we arrived here in march and have the same problem I could only get casual work afternoons so was working 2pm till 11pm so we hardly seen each other my partner got a job doing days but it minimum wage which is not enough to live on over here and to top it all off we are back to square one as the place I was working has closed down and shipped it all overseas and my partner has just been laid off just before Christmas, we also keep getting very down and have said we will give it 12months if it not any better by then we will be going back to the uk. you have to decided what best for you both and go with your gut feeling its usually right

I agree with you totally about all you listed 1. Things are overpriced. 2. People are generally rude, self-centred although pretend to be friendly. 3. They don't like foreigners, although they pretend they do. 4. Service is some of the poorest in the world. 5. Lack of culture and history. 7. Small town mentality & tall poppy syndrome is rife here! 6. Scenery is dull. its very depressing at times they are so narrow minded, all i seem to see is that the aussies want to do is drink any excuss for a piss up. if you want to go back to the uk then go for a working holiday for 12 months to see if its what you really want then make you mind up.

from what we found out it cost you more for the maps than to buy a new sat nav

hi guys slightly worrying my self stupid over this one. i have been getting hip pain on my right side now for a few months its there all the time its made worse after i do any exercise i.e walking i have polycycstic ovaries and after see all these things on tv lately about ovarian cancer it is now playing on my mind but im worried to go the docs because of the cost it could end up costing us we are going back to the UK march next year and i don't know if to wait till then to get it looked at or get it done now sparrow

as most people state great holiday place not sure about living in surfers thou p.s most people drive everywhere here not walk .

id say nearly everything is dearer in oz they get ripped off big time
