Think I just woke up the whole neighbourhood!!!:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: x Congratulations Nicky. Wow so fast. My OH is .net specialist but when ACS assessed him they assessed as Applications & Analyst Programmer so we were no longer CSL. We were pretty gutted at the time. However, things have turned out OK for us we are now on the SMP for ACT and are Cat2 and being pregnant, we are glad of the extra time. I'm just hoping now that we have the baby before we have to do meds, etc. Congrats, enjoy the celebrations. Claire

Re the medicals - I don't think they'd let you do the chest xray til after baby is born in any case. I think she asked if I was pregnant about 4 times!! Fingers crossed you get a case officer soon. An exciting year ahead for you with the new baby too! Best wishes, Nicky x

We're going to settle in Brisbane. While we've been waiting our plans have changed though. We've decided to take a few months out and travel from Brisbane, through NT to the west coast by camper. Will be proper fun for a few months before we settle down! Very very excited :jiggy: N x

Guest shahdivyesh2005
Prior to yesterday's suspension, quite a few of us managed to lodge applications and are now sitting with fingers crossed, touching wood etc etc hoping our applications are accepted. There's also been speculation about how quickly [or not] these applications may be processed. Please could you add your details below and update on your progress? I'll start... nickyc88
Dear Nicky,Congratulations on your visa! Just wanted to ask you if you reapplied to ACS for new ANZCO classification or your case was settled with the earlier classification of 2231-79 (.NET). Hi Riznad, No we didn't reapply. We just crossed our fingers! N x

I started this thread for those of us who submitted our applications just before the system closed down in May 2010 - mainly as we were quite concerned our applications might be rejected. I'm not proposing to add any more new details to the thread, but it would be really good to put the info about your application date, visa type etc into your signature. Fingers crossed you get some progress soon. Nicky
nickyc88
oh thanks, then i should just practice the same :biglaugh: Hi Riznad, it's hard to know what to do for the best. Our agent advised us to sit tight and see, but she knows our particular case and it might not be the same for you. I have to say, I haven't followed the discussion about ANZCO codes very closely so I don't feel very able to suggest to others what they should do. Best wishes, Nicky
