How Far Are You With Your Visas? x:eek: Hi were looking at staying around rockingham to begin with coz my OH has family we can stay with so save some money while were tryin to find jobs:wub:. We went 4 r meds last wk an just waitin 4 r police checks to come bk :policeman: so fingers crossed we'll hear bk within the next 4wks, were looking at gettin r visa stamped in oct wen were comin over 4 3wks then comin bk 2 sunny briton while we sort last bits out then hopefully fligh bk early next yr. where do u live in perth an did u guys find it easy 2 get jobs? Guest trojon Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Hi everyone I'm from liverpool & I'm have now been living in Perth for 5 mths in fact we have bought our dream home in a place called Serpentine which is semi rural - property is more expensive than what we thought but the wages reflect that anyway I would love to chat to anyone who needs info about the place or to people already here as I'm a bit home sick as me & my hubby came on our own not knowing anyone & its now getting to me no one to text. Trojon Hi Trojan, I'm from Liverpool now living in Quairading...a small farming town in the Wheatbelt. Been here 6 years now, I went through the home sick phases especially as I came here on my own...straight to Quairading (that was probably a good thing actually as I am sure living in a small community made it easier to make friends). You will always feel home sick from time to time especially if there is anything going on at home, but what a life we have here hey! Melanie x Hi Melanie Im fine thanks, good to see that you are getting viewers, even though they seem to be timewasters, ive not had anyone round, given up hope at the moment of selling, lost all interest in keeping the house spotless, if someone wants to come round then I will be in panic mode to get the place tidy, lol. On the plus side they are saying that once we are there he will have no problems getting a decent role. I don't know how feasable it is , but we have thought that when the time comes we could head to Brisbane which would be our first choice, get a short term rental and if Terry hasn't got a job in Brisbane in say two months then apply for jobs in sydney and Melbourne.
