awan88 Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 Well i have got a suspicion that now they would process/finalise the cases after Christmas/new year break. Also another reason for the delay may be the high volume of student visa's being processed at this point of time for February intake. Have you applied for yourself or your wife ? i have applied online. I'm an Australian citizen by birth, they asked for documents after DOL but nothing after the interview at all. It's real hard for my wife. Someone suggested that there is a limit on the amount of spouse VISAs that can be issued each year. Maybe this could be a reason why none have been issued recently. I think its not the reason of number of spouse visa, all it takes how complete your application is. Usually everyone is granted a visa in 9-12 months, this what they say. Rest God knows better.
