Well i have got a suspicion that now they would process/finalise the cases after Christmas/new year break. Also another reason for the delay may be the high volume of student visa's being processed at this point of time for February intake. Since AHC has very limited staff, that may also impact visa processing times.

I did follow up as well but again got the same standard response. I don't quite understand what is causing such long delays as it seems to be the case with everyone... I tried asking them for a reason but they don't even bother reply to that concern.

Another week gone past and still no updates... Did anyone follow up with immigration and end up getting a case specific response instead of their standard response? I would be curious to find the reason behind the delays on visa grants.

lets wait and see if this week brings some good news hopefully... its getting just too much and this waiting game is ridiculous... not sure why they even need that long to process a simple visa application... seems like they are just to unorganised at their end.

totally agree to what you said but i just shared some information that i gathered from various other applicants. I sincerely pray and hope that everyone gets their visa grants as soon as possible... all the best to everyone!

Well i hope all grants come soon for everyone but I know there are cases from January and February still outstanding. I don't think there is a fix pattern for decisions to come as it totally depends upon case to case and its complexity.

There are quite a few passive readers to this thread... I would suggest all passive readers to please signup to the string and share your scenarios. This will help everyone make some calculated estimations on visa time frames... the more the merrier... Thanks!

Hi Hira, yes my wife also got interviewed on the 8th of September. I never followed up through a phone call it has always been through an email. I always write my email my concerns and then specifically request them to respond back to each one of them subjectively and surprisingly they do so. Yet again the average processing time is 12 months but mostly people get the grants before that. Lets see how long this would take to process further. Will keep you posted.

its been 75 days post interview for my wife's application but haven't heard back anything since then. I did follow up with them and they said that the case has been forwarded to the senior case officer/decision maker for finalisation. Now lets see how long that takes! InShaAllah soon

yeah seems like they have gone into an hibernation mode... another week gone past with no progress... looking forward to the next week now!

Well based on the experience of other people posting on this thread I would expect a response either today or early next week. From what I have heard it takes minimum 8 months and roughly 2 months post interview. Finger's crossed and hope for the best.
