Did anyone follow up with immigration and end up getting a case specific response instead of their standard response? I would be curious to find the reason behind the delays on visa grants. ZD87 Posted December 2, 2016 Share Posted December 2, 2016 Really disappointed to be honest, i know the standard time is 9-12 months but when they have approved most applications around the 8.5 mark and some grants given in less than 5 months it gets to you knowing you spent a considerable amount of money and effort into putting an application ready for them to asses and for some unknown reason its taking longer, sorry guys i guess just need to vent. JK I also read in this forum that after interview on one of the users sponsor didnt change to approved and they rang and was told it does not matter, mine however says approved next to the sponsor right after the phone interview, have you tried calling them about this? Jawad khan Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 I did try couple of time to ring them but there ph line are so busy now. Seems like everyone trying to b in touch with them. Anyway i email them yesterday and got reply that there is no such requirement to change any status to approved in IMMI account for sponsor or applicant while the application is under processing. Once the application is finalised that sponsorship requirement will be approved by delegate in system. But this morning my status as a sponsor showing "Approved" on immi account. Other then that same wording visa processing time is between 9 to 12 month and immigration actively working on your case...
