We were expecting September time or later for the medicals and lucky to get there before Christmas but looks like its a BBQ instead of a roast! We've just ordered the Yorkshire and Gloucestershire flags today which we look forward to flying down under! Keep the faith  Well we got it!!! :arghh: Our agent Called last Friday with the GREAT news!! Only 3 days after uploading our Police Checks!! Guest shambo
We've got a CO!! We applied for 175 CSL (IT - Oracle) in November 2008. Medicals and Police Checks were done in February. CO allocated 29/04/2009. Two documents need to be resent - daughters passport bio page and my form 80 as apparently they were corrupt. Everything else has turned to met. Agent says we will hear in 6-8 weeks - is that the normal waiting time? It does seem like they are starting to move on the CSL applications now. Good luck to everyone else still waiting. Guest thedenster
Hi Snow We applied for the 175 on 31st December 2008 which they quote as 1st Jan 2009 because of the time difference. We were very suprised to be granted so quickly. My wife was the main applicant, she is a clinical nurse specialist which is on the CSL. Are you off to Perth too? We are at at the moment living in Codsall, near Wolverhampton still trying to sell our house but not having much luck. Visas applied for in April so may have long wait, looking at moving to the Gold Coast, Mudgeeraba, Robina area, my sister is there and it is really very pretty about 90km from Brissie. Hubby (45) is a builder, I am a nursery nurse (43). What is the job situation out there like, is there building jobs available or not, seem to have heard conflicting reports, can you help! How are you finding Aussie life, is it what you thought it would be or not, whats the situation price wise with housing and land. Are you happy? Hope you can help, thanks.

Shaz36
Hi all, We are a family of 4 from Scotland. We decided to emigrate in Jan this year, and since then have attended an emigration fair, recruited an agent, passed the skills assessment, and have just submitted our 175 visa. I sat the IELTS on Saturday, so when we get the results, will update my application and it will move from being on the MODL to the CSL. Expect the results in about 2 weeks. We are heading for Brisbane. Shaz

Shaz36
Hi Lynne, Well, good luck on your move out there? Keep us updated on where you end up. My sister is in Brisbane, so will hopefully try and move close to her in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, but may end up elsewhere depending on rental prices etc. Not sure how long our visa will take to come thru' and how long our house will take to sell so may not be there for a while yet, but will look out for your posts.
