So u attended ceremony is Melbourne City  or cragaeburn ?

the ceremony location was allocated by the DIPB not the council , It was in the city  near the DIPB , I called the council 2 days before the ceremony to confirm the location, as in the council`s website it says craigieburn, the council told me to go to the location which DIPB stated in the invitation letter

FYI: if you attend the ceremony in the city ( at the college of surgeons venue)  some of your council representatives will attend too.

Hello

We are in the Brisbane area - passed our test on 9th March and received out approval letter the week after. We are still waiting for our ceremony date - can anyone shed any light on their timeline for waiting for their ceremony in Brisbane? We were told that it can be 3-6 months but that we are most likely looking at September. We've called Immigration a few times but they say we haven't been allocated a date yet.

Also, how many weeks before your ceremony do you get your letter?

Thanks!

I done mine one week after u. Still waiting for ceremony

Immigration and asked if there was any earlier appointments

Hi Donna

When you called immigration, did officer ask you for any reason why you wanna change to earlier appointments?
If yes they asked then should we prove that reason why we wanna change to earlier?

Nice. Thank you.

Also I've seen your earlier posts you're from sunshine coast and I'm same too. Great.

It took a few attempts to get mine changed keep trying

In a queue i waited almost an hour over the phone then communicated with immi.officer advised me that the one I've received is earliest one.

Should i call again and speak...I'm worried.

I am waiting too , vic 23 june test. It is bit early 4 me

I noticed that Victoria approval is very slow as compared to the other states. I think it will become slower come July, due to the immigration changes....very bad!
