Guest51810
Yeah it's coogee sands apartment/hotel I'm staying in so I'll have a chat with that place. @Lady Rainicorn thanks for backing me up haha, your weekend case was really heavy!! @snifter. That's me got my Singapore dollars. Didn't get the best rate but wasn't too bad. Think I only lost £10 or something like that. I didn't bother with aus dollars because that was 2.
Guest51810
No actually it was less than 2. 1.89 I think
jumpingjellybean
All lies! Well it was the gods honest truth at 10AM Sunday morning. Also I suggest you try sun worshiping in the AM......rather than at 9PM! That does help somewhat too
jumpingjellybean
I've got $170 aus dollars. But no Singapore. Well that was well organized wasn't it!!! No worries though. Just go to any exchange booth and do it. There are normal several at each airport. Either in UK or Singapore.
jumpingjellybean
You 'fessed up to the beach towel then? I did threaten to post 'OMG you won't believe what Stacey packed?' Beach towel is a bit bulky. That is why I suggested a lightweight cotton sarong. You use it in place of a beach towel. Woolies are selling large beach towels for $5.00 each at present; so just get one here.

That does help somewhat too I was joking about the "all lies" though I probably did not stress it very well, irony not being my strong point. I was really agreeing with you. benthomas010
In answer to an earlier post yes your Santander card should work in most places. Probably better off withdrawing cash from ATM's than using foreign exchange places. Edited November 3, 2015 by benthomas010
jumpingjellybean
I was really agreeing with you. In a rather Double Dutch way then!

Probably better off withdrawing cash from ATM's than using foreign exchange places. Better off simply using the cards to buy things - the visa exchange rate will apply and Santander then charge 2.75% The ATM will charge a fee and Santander will still charge 2.75%
