457 - Current processing times

Hey,

It seems like the "Network" are putting a VERY high priority on "Decision Ready" 457 applications. Applications that are RFI'ed seem to be practically forgotten about. This 28 day period is most certainly not the case. My personal exp currently at 45 days. since 31st Aug

Hey have your received any response from immigration once you submitted your additional document yet ?

I emailed them on the 25th October asking for an update as its been 40 days and their reply was "

The information provided is in the process of being assessed and the application will be finalised as soon as practicable.

We will contact you at that time to advise you of the outcome."

I received this reply on Friday Nov 4th this was from Perth Processing centre, No other updates as yet. I'm hoping this week... fingers crossed.

Im from the UK onshore in Perth being sponsored as a business machine mechanic - something I feel is not very common in regard to sponsorship.. lol basically a photocopier tech ;-) it's 4am and I'm flying to Onslow to fix a plotter as apparently I'm the only one in WA that has any knowledge of the machine haha

That depends on many things, my visa took only 4 days to be granted since my application.

Now I need it to be transferred and I heard it could take 40 days, is this really happening?

Mine got transferred in about 3 weeks, lodged on 23rd Oct, approved 8th Nov. :)

Hi, I applied457 on 30 june 2016 at sydney!

The position is plasterer, my company is the first time to sponsor someone.

Medical check on 2 July

We got sponsorship on 24 August 3016,

Requested more documents: police check

Logged the nomination on 26 aug 2016

Now is 9 November 2016,

I have been waiting for 4 months.

I m holding low risk country passport (HongKong)

Can someone tell me how long does it take the 457?

Is there any people waiting 457 for long time?

I really worry about my visa get refusal!

How come does it take so long time?

:(
