Updated. I have hunch that up to 30th July files will get processed by today/tomorrow, based on the last week's momentum..

Did you try writing to your CO?

I called GH today, earliest referred medical is 19th July, so we are seeing some movement.

Thanks indyanexpress

Yes got both on the same day. Funnily enough the documents list still shows all as required but we have our visa notification grant letter and that's the bit that counts.

I'm hoping that fellow 30 July and surrounding dates will be waking to find they have theirs as well today.

Quick update from me, not posted since page 40!

We've got a definitive response from my OH's oncologist, and this is a direct counter to the moc's opinion noted in the failed letter ( letter of natural justice). We sent this yesterday and hopefully we are not at the back of the queue again! Fingers crossed.

Hi all,

I'm new to this thread but wondered if someone might be able to help me. I'm in a bit of a pickle as I have already got my flights booked (12th Oct) and a job waiting for me in Sydney. I have only applied for a working holiday visa initially but my medicals were done on 7th August and referred on the 17th. I broke my back at the start of this year so imagine that's what they were worried about, but there's nothing wrong now- all healed.

I have tried to email them and get no response now (think I've pestered too much!)- I notice in some of the comments that people are contacting their case officer...how do you do this? I've only been able to get hold of the high commission who are no help at all. I have sent emails saying I need it processed urgently but it's not coming up as received on the e-visa check page. When they've responded before they have.

Is there any way of contacting anyone to push it along (I understand everyone is wanting theirs processed quickly too...), or does anyone have any ideas? I'm getting very anxious that I won't make the flight. Had no idea it would ever be an issue!!

Any suggestions or ideas so very welcome!!!

Thanks guys

Hi Lisa, you can try calling Global Health. Apparently best time to get hold of them according to other ppl's experiences is between 2pm to 2.30pm. No guarantee though whether they will process yours urgently but worth a try. I can understand your frustration, we are all frustrated.

Ok, thank you! Is there a UK phone number for them then because i only seem to find australian.

I've just had a mini-update...they've emailed me back (9 days later!) and have hinted that it could be due to my abnormal smear test last year (I needed a loop excision) and they want to check my CIN grade etc. I'm all clear so it's fine but I wondered if any ladies had this problem too? And what extra info they provided?

Many thanks!

Hi Lisa, I think that's probably the reason why it has taken them so long to finalise your health requirement. Did you present them with a specialist letter to say that you are fine and that you are all clear at the medical? You should go back to see the specialist who did the procedure, get him to write a letter indicating what you had done and the biopsy result. You might need to preform another smear test to prove you are in a clear and send the latest result with the letter. As long ad you have presented them with adequate information then you should be fine. Good luck!

Oh Lisa, that's the only no for Global Health and you need to call them during the Australian time. But since they emailed you for further information, you should just get on with sending them the report and result and then wait for a week or so.

Thank you!!

They haven't actually requested that info yet- someone just kindly advised me that there is a note on my application regarding this so it's likely they'll want it when they get to my application.

Do you know where I'd have to send it so I can give myself a head start?
