  1. Hi Killerbee82, just be honest and upfront during the medical exam. You need to bring a recent liver test result, liver ultrasound and a letter from your gastroenterologist. Demand that all these doc to be submitted with your med result. As far as I know, if your liver function test is normal and you are not on medication for it, you should be fine.
  2. Thanks, I can ans my own question now, I have my meds ref for 22 days and visa granted on the next day after a health undertaking form submitted. Anyone needs any advice, please pm me
  3. Thankyou everyone! I am so glad to have found this thread to keep me sane while waiting. I am wasting no time flying out on Saturday to see my husband who has now been waiting for me for over 2 months! I will see you all in oz! I will still keep an eye on this thread and hope for the best for everyone. God bless!
  4. VISA GRANTED!!!!! Indyanexpress, please update my details on spreadsheet. I sincerely hope and will pray for you all will get your meds finalised and visa granted very very soon!
  5. Hi RMG, I think you are entitled to a copy of the report. I read it in the instructions for panel doctor document but when I rang up my clinic, they refused to provide me one, said it is the hospital's property....sounds strange but I didn't argue with them. Ring your clinic and ask them!
  6. Status update Health requirement finalised 27/09 Just waiting for the visa now......
  7. Seems to me that the result has not been sent. You should get in touch with the Doctor and see whether it is sent.
  8. Hi firstwm, there is a similar case here in PIO and it takes 8 weeks for the meds being referred to finalise so you should be there having a BBQ in oz for Christmas.
  9. Hi Keptray, I can ans your 1st question, as I am still waiting for my visa grant. 1) as far as I know, health undertaking is for those with some sort of chronic illness (although some ppl don't even know why they were issued one! But i know my condition will require one)which require monitoring I.e. either blood test now and then or physical examination. They just want to keep an eye off you just in case there is a change in your condition. The health form will be sent by GH to your CO once they satisfy with your health requirement only if you agreed to be 'monitored' when you arrived in Australia. So from there on, CO will take over from GH, and they will issue you a visa once you sign the form and return to your CO. Do you know whether you have a condition which might require extra considerations by GH plus if you apply for permenent visa, the health requirement is more stringent so it will take longer. I hope you will get there soon! Good luck
  10. Best get a diagnosis of the reason why you have raised liver enzyme. Perhaps cutting down on alcohol will help. There are quite a lot of ppl with weight issues here in PIO who passed there medical without any problems. You can search for the thread here. Good luck!
  11. Who told you? Did you do a medical for your visa? Usually Global Health will email you and ask for the info. There is no harm making an appointment with the specialist who has done the operation and get a letter from him so you are ready to send them the result when they have requested you to. When they do, they will give you clear direction of where to send to.
  12. Oh Lisa, that's the only no for Global Health and you need to call them during the Australian time. But since they emailed you for further information, you should just get on with sending them the report and result and then wait for a week or so.
  13. Update from me! My agent has emailed me just now with a health undertaking form. As soon as I sign the form and send it back to them, my visa will be finalise!
  14. Hi Lisa, I think that's probably the reason why it has taken them so long to finalise your health requirement. Did you present them with a specialist letter to say that you are fine and that you are all clear at the medical? You should go back to see the specialist who did the procedure, get him to write a letter indicating what you had done and the biopsy result. You might need to preform another smear test to prove you are in a clear and send the latest result with the letter. As long ad you have presented them with adequate information then you should be fine. Good luck!
  15. Hi Lisa, you can try calling Global Health. Apparently best time to get hold of them according to other ppl's experiences is between 2pm to 2.30pm. No guarantee though whether they will process yours urgently but worth a try. I can understand your frustration, we are all frustrated.
  16. Emm.....e progress is not accessible at the moment.....
  17. Indyanexpress, I totally agreed that it is up to ppl who wants to disclose whether they actually have a medical condition but if the ss just states yes/no then we know the trend. It will be up to individual whether they wanted to update this info or not. I just don't understand why some ppl get referred without any medical condition and why it is taken so long to finalised their meds. I can understand ppl with a condition will get refer longer but if they didn't refer ppl unnecessarily then the backlog will not be so huge. Anyway, I am just getting frustrated with the waiting like others......
  18. Online, how about ppl with pre existing condition vs 100% fit to see the trend?
  19. Omg, so glad that your wife is clear. I hope they will approve your OH visa soon. They seem to go through the August meds now. I have been apart from my husband now for two months my meds only been referred since September. And with my per existing condition, I am not sure when they will approve mind. I know how you feel. But I hope you don't have to wait for too long now.
  20. Hi Radman, just out of curiosity, your wife was asked for further medical tests by the MOC or the panel doctor? I presume your wife has a pre existing medical condition? And it takes you until August to get this further tests done? I have declared my medical condition but submitted reports at the medical and haven't heard from MOC since. I just want to second guess the timeline although I know it is quite difficult to guess because it really does depend on the type of medical condition.
  21. Wao, that is incredible. I must say, some panel drs are unbelievable! He shouldn't have lied to you at the very least. I am glad that you have taken all necessary steps now to get your visa. I hope you will get a fair outcome. God bless
  22. I am in the same boat. Thought 457 will be quicker but now I am not so sure but there are few 457 applicants got their visa quicker than other permenent visas. At least you are going together as a family. My husband is already in Australia and I am pregnant.
