Hello.. I have one question If occupation has Special conditions applied in SA's occupation list but an individual has sufficient points(i.e 85 in total Incl. State Sponsor) and has a genuine job offer letter from SA's employer so that Will SA give nomination to that Individual? Guidance will be very much regarded. Thank you

No one can predict if required they may ask you again I have seen such cases where co contacted 4 times if they have any Doubt and if case is straight forward then they can give you grant but no one can predict.

However, there is confirmation on this read this belwo. When DHA announced the New 16/11/2019 points test back in April 2019 the Explanatory Statement included these paragraphs This will ensure that primary applicants without a partner (singles) will be ranked equally to other primary applicants who have the same human capital attributes. If all other points claims are equal, invitations for points tested visas will be ranked by the Migration Points Test as described below: First – primary applicants with a skilled spouse or de facto partner Equal First – primary applicants without a spouse or de facto partner Second – Primary applicants with a spouse or de facto partner who can demonstrate competent English but does not have the skills for skilled partner points (age and skills) Third – Primary applicants with a partner who is ineligible for either competent English or Skilled partner points. These applicants will be ranked below all other cohorts, if all other points claims are equal. This suggested that if points were equal (let’s say 85 points) that EOIs claiming 10 partner points (single people and those with a skilled partner and competent english) would gain an invite BEFORE others on the same total even if they had a lesser effect date. As they would be ranked higher in the above ordering listed in the explanatory statement DHA have confirmed to us that there will be NO new “rankings” system in the new points test (So the system remains as it currently is) . So when an EOI is allocated it’s points total and EOI date (including any new partner points etc) on 16/11/2019 … EOIs will be selected on merit from that point. It will be based as before, simply on points total and EOI effect date DHAs reply included the following quotes ” There is no change to how EOIs are ranked in SkillSelect, nor will there be a change from 16 November 2019. ” “…Yes, you are misintepreting the Explanatory Statement, there was no intention in this statement to imply there would be priority groupings.” Now everything is clear there will be no priority to singles and married having a skilled spouse or de facto partner and again I repeat DHA wants skilled spouse and they verify each & everything Thanks & Regards

The screenshot above you have shared is only half and it can mis lead to people in other directions Kindly see the following attachment Read the following it clearly states that 1st priority will be an applicant having skilled spouse or de facto partner and single will be consider equally but not on their priority Thanks & regards

Exactly agree with you I mean department has change the point system just to avoid fraud because many people are claiming false marriage certificates and DHA verify each and every details of an applicant if person claims to be single or divorcded they also verify it either via social media or call ex wif. I repeat DHA verify everything.

Information from DHA about 16/11/2019 EOIs and Points test visas DHA has clarified information on the updating of points for submitted EOIs when the 16 November 2019 changes come into effect. The Department has clarified that: – SkillSelect will automatically update points for all Expressions of Interest (EOI) in submitted status. – EOIs in draft status will not be updated, as no points have been attributed at this stage in the system – There will be no change to the ‘date of effect’ for any EOI when this change is applied. – Points will only be updated once an EOI is submitted – Specific systems functionality is still being developed and any information required by agents will be provided once the process has been finalised, however, no applicant or intending migrant will be disadvantaged by the changes to 6D points for Points Tested visas. I am single and currently holding 60 points on my own and as per the current point system I 'll have 5 points or 10 points for state sponsorship.. However, in November due to implementation of new point system I'll be having 85 points 25- Age 15 Degree 20- English Proficiency 10- Single 15- State sponsorship As I have a positive Skill assessment and assessment body has count experience below 3 years so Not claiming points for the experience though.. Still I will be standing at 85 Points which seems very good so yes Indeed if you are genuine single like me than this is really beneficial & on the one side I also agree that break up cases will increase. But there is always pros & cons of each and everything.

Lol yes that's why till November they are inviting less applicants for all subclasses to reduce the processing time

Except Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth. In new 491 Wollongoong, New Castle in NSW will be considerd as regional & Adelaide and all the remaing cities i.e Hobart, Darwin will be reamin same as regional area as per the experied 489 visa

The current processing time for subclass 190 is 9 months to 10 months...And currently CO contacts avergely nearer to six Months after Lodgement. Moreover, there were elections in the May-19 so due to that all the applications for the visa were on hold.. And they have boosted up the visa processing in Early june. Now.. They are clearing the backlogs and trying to process faster.. Since subclass 489 is closed for invitation & last date of lodgment of visa is 15th November for 489. Currently 189 is being issued less just 100 Nos. for 190 invitation are also less due to new poimt system & new subclass 491 comes into affect. Hence, this all will reduce the application volume & they can process faster for the existing applications and after November visa processing will cut out for sure..

Yes... 5 years of work experience is required for onshore or offshore applicants

Current time for getting an invitation of 190 from S.A is 12-14 weeks so you need to wait.

Hey... The exact process, application Criteria, occupation list, application form will be similar to the expired subclass 489 but this is a subject to confirmation and will be out by end of October or early November.

This will be replacing visa subclass 489. 2) Visa subclass 494: Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (Subclass 494), a new and enhanced employer-sponsored visa to assist regional Australia, with two streams: Employer-Sponsored and Labour Agreement. This will be replacing visa subclass 187. Old visa 489 & 187 superseded by these new visas.
