Just got the letter to provide AOS BOND.

It doesnt not say how to provide this bond to centrelink. CBA will know what to do?

The letter needs careful reading. Take the letter to Commonwealth Bank. You will need ID plus $150. You need your tax number also, if you don’t have a Commonwealth bank account you will need a bank cheque from your own bank (it was made out to my daughters name) for the amount of bond requested.
when you get bond certificate done, you upload it to Centrelink, under “upload documents,” then select “Centrelink form”  scan or manually add the bar code on the top of Centrelink  letter,  it will then say upload bank certificate. Then await AoS approval.

  2. @cfernandes as mentioned previously visas on hold until end of May when they will review the situation.
They may not even continue now to keep on asking for further info as some Medical centres are not doing the medicals. Who knows! Let’s hope in a couple of months it speeds up again and we get some  visas  through in this financial year as they must be low on numbers granted. 👍🤞🤞

Thanks, After the long wait had everything ready to go. Got the medical appoinment within 2 days and also the Police check was back in 3 days!

Now the wait for the AOS

In my own opinion!  it will go quiet parent visa wise for a while. Mygov website keeps crashing and Centrelink overwhelmed with enquires.  Immigration will also be very very busy with temporary visa enquires etc., keep safe everyone 😞

If you are not at final stages of visa and haven’t had the request for further info then send it to

    parents@homeaffairs.gov.au

Include all your parents Visa application reference numbers etc in subject line

i would also send it again when you are at the final stages to pvcteam

Is it true that it is only permanent residents that are now being allowed into Australia - ie people with various visitor visas like e651 and 600 are now being denied  entry?

That should make it easier for everybody’s insurance claim if that true?  I don’t want to go now - flight is mid June

We have flights with BA on a still open route, except we can’t enter Australia now on a 600 visa. And it appears BA won’t automatically cancel these flights (Because the route is still open) and if we choose to cancel, we don’t get the full refund.

Can you change date for later in the year maybe best option. Everything changes daily and rapidly so they may let you cancel eventually. Qantas gave me a credit voucher for full amount valid until Mar next year

Hi everyone , We already done the bank guarentee but we just realized that the name of my mother missing one word because of the centrelink letter (my son in law did the bank guarentee for us). Is there any chance we can fix this problems? We very confused because maybe we cant take the money out from the bank . And even centrelink approve our aos , immigration wont grant the visa for us

Did you send copy of AoS approval to pvcteam  as they require you to do this. Then maybe explain your problem when you send it

"All foreign nationals will now be banned from entering Australia due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Scott Morrison has hardened the closure of the nation’s borders, after earlier this week forcing all new entrants into Australia to self-isolate for 14 days.

All Australian citizens, residents and direct family members will still be able to enter the country, but will have to self-isolate."

    Best regards.

    Hi Alan,

Do you think they will just hold off issuing 143’s etc to those of us who are onshore, as obviously we cannot leave to activate 😞

We are in Australia on a Visitors Visa600 and are flying in and out every three months whilst awaiting our Parental Visa 143 (Due this year).

With all flights cancelled can we reapply for a Visa 600 long stay (12 months) without affecting our Visa 143 application.?

Yes you can as I am here on a 600 awaiting 143.
Do you mean you are here on a e651?  If you apply for a 600 family tourist visa this will then just cancel out the e651
