I don't stream videos! I receive a lot of large emails for work, and that is the only thing I can think. I use spotify- but download a lot of the playlists when at home. hmmm. I guess this is the trouble with unlimited. I just use it with no idea where it is all going too.

So I have looked and looked and known in Australia seems to offer unlimited data on a mobile contract! I have been on 3 in the Uk and have got so used to "all I can eat" Was hoping there was something similar in Oz. I have just had a look at my data usage for this month and it is 43GB! ouch. Anyone know any good data heavy plans in OZ? Thanks

In the UK I would totally recommend BA AMEX. if you are good at paying back your balance every month. we pay about £200 in annual fees, we are about to fly to Sydney paying taxes only. (thats two people for about £500 return) We have also been upgraded to Business because of our status in the past. If you can get it and are good at paying it back and travel a lot it can be worth it.

Totally understand your frustration, I am a contract worker, and are not taking contracts longer than 6 months, as we want to go as soon as we can. I have had to turn down great paying jobs! Also wanting to put the house on the market and arrange the cats to move.. all very hard without knowing a date. Judging by the date you applied and everyones timescales I am sure it will be any day now for you AusCitizen

Thanks Pom Queen that is a good find! I like it although a little small. That website even has the vesper ones! But they are more expensive in OZ. As can be expected. I did find a few other good ones. good point! Thank you I never thought about that. I am sure the vesper ones are just like an other piece of furniture, but maybe the woven baskets could cause an issue?

Yes I am asking about cat trees! lol My cats love theirs and are just trying to work out if it I should be shipping them to OZ? I like nice looking cat trees. No Faux fur! We love Karlie, Vesper & Pet pals cat trees, but none of these brands are available in Australia. I have searched online for cat trees Australia and all I get is Faux fur ones. Has anyone in Australia found a more stylish option? Thanks

Hello I have a question about the food in Australian quarantine. One of my cats gets bad allergic dermatitis, She has a allergy to a lot of the fillers (Wheat, starch, rice) that mainstream supermarket cat food brands put in the food. I only feed my cats food brands that are at least 95% meat. Did you know Whiskers and Felix here in the Uk are 4% meat! Has anyone else taken their pets into quarantine with diet or medication requirements?

I suppose your mind is made up, but I would echo what others have said: In my opinion the further north you go, the more redneck people become. Darwin is pretty small and very hot. Maybe you should be looking to Melbourne or Brisbane for a better quality of life?. What career where you in the UK?
