The 820 is for de facto relationships or married. So if you're in a de facto relationship, you have to live together sharing bills e.c.t for 12 months. I don't think they count time dating in that, just when your serious relationship starts. Sponsors are usually the partner, and have to be Australian citizens. Prospective Marriage Application Question
EllieJV replied to appletwist's topic in Family / Partner Visas
Hi, We just mentioned what shared things we've bought while visiting each other like half on hotels, one paying both our travel, and buying for birthdays. It didn't seem like much written out so we mentioned that we plan on getting a joint bank account, and sharing bills eventually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Just wanted to check that's what you were asking before I ramble. We met on Facebook 2013 I think, started the relationship June 2014, met in Adelaide on our 1 year anniversary, met in the UK for 2nd anniversary, and he proposed soon after getting home What about you guys?

No, no news yet. All good Just wondered if it had happened before. I get a bit paranoid waiting, thinking they'd turn us down even though I can't think of a reason to do it [emoji30] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've only sent the intended marriage letter from celebrant. I haven't been asked for anything else, but I'm only 20 so unlikely I'd have been married before haha -

Hi guys, I couldn't find any threads specifically about how PMV (300)'s are going. All were 309, 100, 801 and 820. If there is already a thread for this, please let me know I was wondering how everyone else's applications are going/went to get an idea of the current processing times. My application; 21st Feb - Application submitted 7th March - Uploaded everything except police checks and medical 8th March - Medical 9th March - CO's first contact requesting medical and police checks Hoping to have police checks uploaded by 24th March, and press the 'information provided' button. How's everyone else's going? :cute:

I did my medical before I was asked for it. Then the day after I did the medical my CO asked for medical and police checks. Uploaded a week later, so just waiting on police checks coming in post to upload. I applied less than a month ago so pretty sure pre-uploading stuff speeds things up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ah, yeah. Fair enough. They should show something like recent time lines instead. That'd be cool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've seen a lot getting granted within 5 months lately? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd wait. Wouldn't want them checking it then messaging you saying it's not there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
