  1. oh god that is a nightmare! well its time for celebrating then for both of us! no more worries (or at least none after the grant is confirmed ha ha)
  2. oh tell me about it! I have had one visa declined which im appealing at the tribunal and now just got my offshore visa through. Its still not over it looks like the tribunal are overturning my original decision and I am just short of being eligible for permanent residency (I applied almost two years ago, and had they granted I would be eligible in like 19 days) so im gonna keep pushing for Pr and see how that works out for me ha ha!
  3. I am off to Bali and confirmed my flights with the Department the next day after getting the email. A few days after that she confirmed that my grant had been scheduled for the first working day that I will be away! Exciting times Where you gonna head to?
  4. @Wkdstyle Congratulations! I fly next week to get mine! its been scheduled for the first day that im offshore! yay!
  5. There was no second application, the first one was overturned ah wait are you thinking of my 309? im not meaning that visa... just the 820/801 process!
  6. My onshore partner visa subclass 820/801 was declined in 2014. I appealed the decision and have been advised by MRT that a favourable decision is imminent. Its been two years since I originally applied for the visa and if it was granted in the first instance i would now be eligible for the 801 visa... So.... what are my chances do you think? When immigration processes my visa will I just get 820 or because the 2 years has passed will I get the 801?
  7. How long did it take? I think mine is about to be remitted.
  8. Hey AusCitizen, I just got my email at the beggining of Feb, you will be given 28 days to confirm your departure and will have a period in which you have to re-enter by which is linked to your medicals and police checks. I got my 'depart for grant' email in Feb and had to be back in by the end of May as i was quick off the mark with my Police clearances. I hope this helps!
  9. I am already temporarily employed by the agency, i was just hoping to wangle a permanent job lol! I will await my tribunal hearing! thanks all
  10. @Wheat92 I am currently in Australia so have to leave to have it granted. Therefore its Scheduled for grant on 9 March when I am offshore! you must be getting close now! exciting times!
  11. My Visa Grant is scheduled for 7 March, at which point I will be in Bali! I am super excited and cant wait for a holiday and to come home with a visa! yay! Thanks for all your advice on the job front... I will just hold out hope that MRT goes in my favour and I then should have PR as the two yeas would have lapsed.
  12. Ah well you know what the government is like hey, they like it all firmed up in writing that I have permanent working rights, which I doubt think im gonna be able to get in writing from them ha ha!
  13. Thanks Snifter, I too read this earlier. I wonder whether the grant letter says anything more about working rights than this information?
  14. I would be eligible for the 100 so just the 309... In order to obtain a permanent job with my employer i need permanent working rights. even though I have a temporary visa, do you think I will have permanent working rights then?
  15. Hi everyone... anyone on the 309 visa can you answer this for me? What is listed next to working rights on your visa? i'm hoping with a bit of luck it says permanent??!
  16. Woop woop! Got my request to depart Australia! I uploaded my police check about two hours before and then bam! There it is! I have 28 days to confirm my departure from Australia and until 26 May 2016 as my first date of entry! ( this is exactky a year from the date of my earliest police clearance) its time for a holiday then! Woop woop!
  17. I just heard from my case officer and have somehow forgotten to (or they missed it) upload my police clearance. I uploaded it now within like an hour of getting the email, any ideas what happens now and how long it might take to get finalised?
  18. im over the moon for you Nollie! you stayed soooo strong whilst waiting, even though those people got it before you! Im not gonna be as patient I can tell already! I hope the move all goes well
  19. oh deary me, i am driving myself crazy! I am checking my emails constantly! its great to see that there were more grants though yay!
  20. oh my god its all too exciting! It soooo great to see all these grants coming through! yay! 7 months and 1 week for me almost! hopefully im close, i do have a feeling im in the hard basket though Just to add my two cents worth... I live in Oz and most public servants here finish at 3:30 - 4:30! so thank god its being processed in London where they seem to work later hey!
  21. Im wondering whether all of these 6 and 7 month grants are for people who are going straight to the 100! could it be they are getting the easy ones out first?
