  1. if you have been in a de facto relationship for more than 3 years or 2 years with children you dont have to wait the two years. and yes it starts form date of lodgement

  3. Hey Bound4Tassie I would love to know how it works too, how can some take sooo much longer than others! it doesnt seem to be a first come first served type thing hey! Im thinking my case isnt straight forward as I had my onshore visa declined so mine could be ages...
  4. Which visa waqs it you were denied Jayzo?? I am currently waiting on a hearing for my 820 which was declined in March 2015.

  18. Its all been a bit quiet this week... I hope there is a flurry of grants next week!
  19. immigration can extend your medical for 6 months as well so i wouldnt worry! I too did mine before i applied, for a different application, and this is what i was told by them
  20. I cant believe that you got a grant on NYE how amazing is that!!!! eeeeek!!!! Happy for you! Happy January everyone, this year is gonna be a big one for us all
  21. Lets hope they play catch up in the new year too! Im all for them having 10 days off and then straight back into the grants would be great
  22. FYI the London office is closed now.... Our office is currently closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays and will re-open on 29 & 30 December 2015 between 0900hrs - 1600hrs London time. Normal operations will resume on Monday 04 January 2016.
  23. Yea I dont think it means anything unless your case officer has asked for something from you! I did my medicals about a week after applying and same with my police clearances. The Department can extend your Medicals for 6 months, so I figured I would get in there early and get them done! it makes no difference though, Jen44 and are moving along at the same pace
