  6. We we are going to send stuff through move cube, if you go on the shipping and transport bit ,there is a lady who has just done it and put pics on what she put inside it, loads of boxes , bit like our bits we are taking so should fit inside the move cube
  7. Tina, was you able to do it with on finance , that's good if you was , I always thought when leaving you had to pay it off.
  8. We have being do we take do we sell for a it now, and we have come the decision to sell everything with he sale of the house if they want it, and we are only bringing kids stuff clothes, personal stuff ,books DVDs ,photos and kids game consoles and stuff. And saving to buy new when we get there. Was going to take car but now selling it and getting one over there .
  9. So spray bottle and clean everything with it then should do the trick then lol
  10. Mostly will be personal stuff .. Books DVDs,kids stuff they want to take, our 2 big TV, and game consoles. But with reading some put food in I might stick our comfort food in that you can't get or is too expensive over there to buy. Decided to sell all our furniture or sell with the house and by out there as the cost to send them over roughly works out the same to buy. Them new out there. So spray the boxes with cleaning liquid lol
  11. Bit like me then , I went out when I was 16 and stayed there for 1yr came home for 6mths and went back and stayed for 11 yrs, iam returning back after a bloodly long wait, with your daughter can you not go for citizen of decent so you don't have to put her on the visa, be a lot cheaper , all 3 of kids are British born but iam applying for citizen and there Aussie passports to become Australian citizen.
  12. Ouch Emma ,that is a big chunk of money, we managed to get in before increase of visas, I suppose you have waited this long a few months won't hurt , iam only a few weeks into visas and want to be there already, but waiting for the big picture will be rewarding won't it
  13. We are thinking of using move cube to send our personal stuff over, not going to take furniture,as I have shopped and would be cheaper to buy over there then to send it, I was thinking to use the plastic boxes for stacking and so they can see inside them also, do you think it would better or to use normal cardboard boxes
  14. Have you spoke to your husband and chatted to him about it all ? Do you have a nice circle of friends or at least you can chat too ? Maybe see if just you coming back to the UK for a short holiday when baby is born might be a good thing, so you have to go back to Aussie for the girls, or maybe see if your daughter wants to come to you and her partner
  15. If you go to a local solicitor, I did with mine only cost me £5 each one ,cheapest thing in the whole thing lol
  16. Good luck with your move and hope everything goes smoothly for you all
  17. Thanks for for quick reply, we will have savings ,but would like the house money to cover anything else we run into over there, visa should come 10mths from now, so will put house up after Xmas and hopefully sell, as it is a biggest house down our street and nice size garden and off street parking so fingers crossed, headache over with visa, now the move headache will commence lol
  18. Thanks captainC ,thought as much just thought would ask, my head is filled with loads at the moment
  19. The Aussies returning did you have to do a resident return form, or will my Aussie passport be just as good
  20. Don't know if right place, but the ones who will be going next year when visas are granted, when do you put your house up for sale, it is racking my brain when do we do it, don't want to go on to early as we would have to move into rented property before we go, I would like to sell close to when we go so we can just move cube things we are taking and then stay in hotel for a days then fly out , all sounds simple but is it lol
  21. Thanks Jen NT will do for sure, so the kids don't have to go with you , hope not as a long trip to London for me with them in tow lol
  22. We just put ours in and cost $4635 so was about £2350ish... But it goes up to the $6k ish mark tomorrow
