Wow iam going to start coming on here everyday iam missing all the exciting news and have to trail through the messages, well done to all the visas granted this month, so exciting news ,NOT jealous much hehehe.... With regarding the medical bit and police checks, I got told by London Aussie house when I rang awhile ago, they do it for 6 months after you apply so when you go to have it done and visa granted it is 6mths full on both ,as they need to be more then 3 months for when you arrive in Aussie .

  5. Have you had many quotes from companies we have a westie age 8 and thinking of doing it our self all the vets stuff ,dogtainers are the company most pet travels use while picking them up from airports,so I am waiting on quotes for taking from London to Mel then Mel to Perth, I have the paper work for defra for the import and application which is straight forward . Plus regarding money , you have money from when you put your tax form in p800 to claim your tax back what you have paid that year, will help to go towards it too. And also if your sister will have the dog and when you get settled and financially able send for the dog.

  8. If you are granted the 309 first then you have to wait the two years, if the 100 grant first ,with in the first week of being in the country you can go to centrelink and ask what is available
  9. Go on here and just have a look, http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/themes/families?from=theme-bar my best friend in Aussie she works as a assistant manager at a movie place, and earns $50grand mark, they get there wages topped up by the government by $20 grand and kids get help with school stuff too, all of this you will be able to claim if got kids, and as for schooling helps loads having the 100 straight away ,as they kids will be classed as Aussie so no big fees
  10. Getting the 100 straight away means you are able to go to centrelink and claim anything that is entitled to you, like what we have here child tax or credit and working tax. Also you will get a Medicare card straight away ,loads more opportunity then on a 309
  11. Nice one Croker, crack open that champagne [ QUOTE=Croker;1936794301]THAT'S IT, IT'S TODAY! I've just received my grant email 5 minutes ago. YES! YES! YES!

  13. I did the move when I was 16, was settled and loved it living with my aunt, but then my uncle and aunt came over and I started to miss everyone loads family wise , so came home and as soon as I stepped of the plane in London I thought you idiot what have I done, everyone had there own lives and even though being away didn't make a difference in family life of others. So I saved up and 6mths later went back, leaving my family my mum and siblings . And stayed there for 11 yrs and came back due to family health illness, and now 15 yrs later iam going back I can't wait, but will be harder as I have closer friends and the kids have there grandparents , but will be the best thing ,nothing here anymore and they can always visit

We we haven't really told to many people apart from close family and friends, and not even put on Facebook , due to my partners job ,like you pokies don't want to rock the boat till we have too. So when we put it on ,after OH send his notice in, and then put on Facebook, won't be to long after that we will go. So looks like May-June then or before we live in hope
  17. Ann WOW Jaclyn that is great news. And straight to 100 double celebrations ,crack open that bubble you have had on chill, so what are the plan of action now then x
  18. We use emmigration group in Cheshire, they have being brilliant, I got told from Aussie house in London, if my partner wanted to work while visa was coming in he could get a temp working visa until visa came through, and then would have to leave oz go to NZ or anywhere for visa to be activated, ring Australian house or a migration agent, all we had to send was all birth certificate and proof of relationship, utility bills, do your kids have Aussie passports ,and certificate of descent.
  19. How long you got till you go then, don't think it will hit me till We land in Perth soil lol
  20. Fantastic news on all the visa granted, you must be all on cloud nine and crack that bottle open to celebrate,so jealous x
