  1. I used passport for mine. I know it says with visa but my agent said it was ok as when you get to Oz to finalise your registration ( you have to do this in person there) you can show your visa then. Ive sent certified copies of passport drivers license and marriage certificate for my ID my form is there being dealt with at the moment.
  2. Thank you very very much for your help. I wish my husband would help me with all the paperwork lol and it's his dream I'm following as he can't get there without me.
  3. Is there none who has done these forms that can offer any assitance??
  4. Hi all, I may be coming across as a bit thick but really need help with parts of the forms. AHPRA for my nurse registration. There is no guidance on the website form what I can see. 1. on the UK verification form at the bottom it says " please ensure that you have provided...........(organisation name) with copy of proof of address and ID. now is this AHPRA or fit2work? 2. Declaration of consent page The two blank lines to complete - who what organisation am I putting here?? AHPRA? i though it was me first but I fill my name , sign and date the page below . 3. International consent form There are 4 spaces for countries to fill in - will I just put UK here as I have not lived anywhere else? Should I be putting Australia in here? 4. Asking for addresses in all countries I have lived in - I have moved around 13 times do they want them all or just 10 years worth? Any my help is gratefully appreciated. I think I'm getting thicker the further along this process I get or its so confusing it's making me doubt my instincts and judgement on form filling
  5. Have you done your fit2work form? Ahpra emailed me today and asked for it - I hadn't completed a question on the form (which I was surprised about the amount of times I re read and check supporting evidence ) , or got the fit2work done and also my migration agent hadn't told me to either! Really starting to think what I'm paying her for, one more issue and I'll be cancelling fees. They also chased the uni verification of clinical hours in training, which I am still waiting for uni to send. Another ranting email was sent to them this evening too!
  6. Ive sent both applications off this month. My agent advised to this. Good luck
  7. When did you start applying for jobs? anmac and ahpra are dealing with my applications now, IELTS done, EOI early next year (hoping to do this before Easter) how long is the visa process after getting EOI confirmed?
  8. Had a legal practitioner (friend who is solicitor) for anmac and friend of family notary public who is a judge. Both were free which was great for us. not heard anything from APHRA yet, sent forms on 16 th last Friday so early days yet. post office track and trace is useless ! according the the website my anmac forms still haven't arrived even though they have ! Not holding much hope that it will tell me when the APHRA forms have been delivered either.
  9. I got the printed version certified by legal practitioner anyway before posting to anmac and APHRA they are just asking for sat dec and not anything else at the moment .
  10. Bloody hell! I'll get my agent to check with them if they have received it then. Thanks for your help
  11. I have already paid and requested this for both APHRA and anmac from the NMC , for the verification of current registration. NMC wrote to me to say that they have already sent this on 21st sept, so hopefully they have had that one. Anmac are on about the original statement of entry which I have lost since I qualified and first out on list I think?
  12. I got email today asking for more information - uni transcript to show theory and clinical hours - I have paid for uni to do this but they still hadn't sent this info as of yesterday's email when I've chased up for update from them, so Go knows how long they are going to take! They are also asking me for stat dec for NMC as do not accept statement of entry from online website despite this being the only way NMC will provide copy of original from what I could see online. I'm thinking as they have already started looking at my form and documents it looks promising for getting it sorted sooner rather than later? Any thoughts does it look positive for me?
  13. I've already had NMC confirm they have sent to anmac and APHRA about 2 weeks ago so hopefully won't be too much of a hold up or additional info needed. where you hoping to go? What type of nursing you planning on doing over there? im district nurse here and hoping for community role with less stress and a mon to fri job would be nice with no w/ends or bank holidays but I think I might be dreaming to much there.
  14. Thanks . since i posted I just noticed my agent was directing me to the general registration form and not the international form. Thank God I'm aware of what I'm doing and checking on her advice. Can't believe she got it wrong and I'm paying her to advise us!
  15. Has anyone sent their APHRA form off in the past two months? i printed off the 11th August 2015 version and have ready to send tomorrow, but my agent has emailed me today to say that they gave changed it twice since, once on 15th August and then again on 31st August!!! but I can't find either of these new versions on their website! They are still listing the internationally trained nurse form as the 11th August one. if I send this one will it be ok anyone know please? Also does anyone know the current turn a round times for anmac and APHRA? Anyone had theirs back recently ?
  16. I also have foundation degree in adult nursing 2004 as my initial and then completed BSc community health studies -district nursing 2012. Our agent Katherine @ getmetooz hasn't told us they could refuse due to diploma, I just thought as long as I had a degree in nursing of some sort I would be ok, I'm a bit worried now. My Anmac forms arrived over there last week so on the waiting game too.
  17. I used this for some of my prep before academic test in July this year and I passed first time.
  18. Thanks for this info. I'm sure he won't be moving out he can't afford it and he'd never cope with household chores lol
  19. thanks for this info. he's only doing part time course, I think he's doing 9-5pm and 9-10pm every week 8 + 13 hrs = 21 hrs in total - but is this enough for visa with us??
  20. yes he may be finished by June or he might even stay and do the next years course seems college prices in Oz are very high.
  21. My son will be 19 when we apply for our 189 visa next year hopefully around Easter time. At the moment he is in college here in the UK - hospitality nvqlevel3 and he has a part time job in local pub/restaurant. His plan is to finish college here then follow us over if we have already left. questions for you guys.... is is there a time frame for when he needs to present in oz to start his visa, if me and husband have already left the UK.? we were not planning on him going to college/education in Australia because it seems very expensive so thinking he could work full time - is this ok in our visa? Or does he have to go into education? what evidence will we need to show that he is dependent on us - he does live at home with us but he earns his own spending money, so other than food, shelter and the odd few clothes from us that's it. We don't transfer any money to him via bank just give him cash where needed, our agent is being a bit vague with the amount he can earn and what we should be doing ! He has worked full time hours over the summer holiday but this will be reducing now he's back in college.
  22. Section I page 8 of AHPRA form is asking if I have completed 5 years of full time education taught in english. they ask for tertiary and secondary, tertiary and vocational or a mix of all three. It also states that these must include 2 years of nurse training.
  23. I've got for my AHPRA forms evidence.... initial nursing foundation degree 3yrs full time - university bsc degree post nurse qualifying 3 years part time - university also ielts certificate do I need anything else? I do have a diploma from college 2 years full time - college ( territary I think it was ) Hoping I don't need to add my GCSEs as don't have any certificates I don't think!
  24. I am using getmetooz.com they have not done much with us the yet though, only just starting paperwork for APHRA and anmac so can't really recommend yet. But their Facebook updates state that they are 100%successful and are posting people's success frequently.
  25. Sydney is the plan, we have friends there and my husband loved Sydney during his travels in 2000-1. I was told I only needed band 7 for visa? And then that will give me 65 points for visa which is enough until I turn 40 (which is next March so up against it lol) Is it because you need more points for your visa that you need level 8? I've done IELTS, sent off to NMC for verification this week awaiting email to arrange payment, ive just paid anmac.... So at the moment I'm awaiting my agent to get back to me to say all my evidence is correct before sending in post but it's been a week and no email back from her!! Hopefully she won't be too much longer, with working full time over here it's hard to get time to ring and speak to her. You only looking at sponsorship? We were, but we are now going on an independent hopefully so we won't be restricted to one job/state. Also more chance of getting job as adverts mostly seem to say no sponsorship available these days. I work on the community here as district nurse so my chance of hospital work will be slim due to my experience and qualifications, my degree is in community health. Another reason for independent for us. Good luck for your IELTS
