Hi! what do they ask during the citizenship interview? Did you have to undergo another health check during your citizenship application? Do I have to bring my kids during the citizenship interview if they are included in my application?

Hi. When applying for citizenship online, do we have to attach certified copies of our documents or can we just scan the originals and attach it to the application without having it certified.

Thanks for for the reply. When we applied and got our permanent residence my son who was only 2 years old was not yet doing any therapy as we did not suspect anything wrong so I think we did not withheld anything from Immigration as there was nothing to report. I am just concerned about the citizenship application if the current finding of the doctor will affect his citizenship application. He is now 3 years old.

We are permanent residents and planning to apply for Australian citizenship in October 2016. My son has speech delay so has been seeing a speech therapist and occupational therapist. He also saw a paediatrician and the doctor said he is showing some signs of autism but the doctor has not made a final/official diagnosis of autism. Does having a diagnosis of autism be a reason for Immigration to deny my son to be an Australian Citizen? I know it has been grounds to deny permanent resident application but how about Australian Citizenship?

No additional documents were requested. Immiaccount showed application received in the morning then by afternoon changed to finalised right away and received the grant letter in the email

Congrats Tilva. I'm so glad to hear May approval for 187 visa. Hoping to get mine soon as I lodged on 7 May 2015 with nomination already approved on 1 May which is very close to your timeline.

If the 457 employer is in Regional area, you can apply either the 186 or 187 transition stream. We chose the 187 because IMMI website states it is priority 1 thinking it would be faster than the 186, however right now it seems like 186 approvals are faster.

186 visa having approvals of visas lodged in May. how come 187 has no approvals eventhough it is supposed to be priority 1 and Ens 186 is priority 2.

Hi Moosa, I se you are 457 to 186 transition stream? did you claim English language exemption when you lodged your visa or not? why were you asked for IELTS if you claimed English Language exemption? Thanks.

Hi Komalami, when is the expiration of your AFP? I am tr4ying to figure oput if IMMI considers AFP validity of 6 months or 1 year as my AFP is already going on it's 7 month.

the 186 thread have had lots of visa approval. There have been May applications approved in 186 thread. I thought the 187 has priority over the 186, how come 187 is so slow?
