  2. Our house has been up for sale since may in glasgow , we have had 2 viewers. The estate agent in our opinion hasn't tried very hard.especially as other houses have sold within a few weeks. It's very frustrating. We are now having to rent our house out.Not really what we planned but we don't have much choice as we fly out to Australia 9th September.xx

  6. Yes the company have totally refused her, but are willing to insure every one else. We will try another company . The annoying thing really is most of her asthma is set off by cold , damp windy weather. Which we get a lot of in Scotland. When ever we have been abroad on holiday , you wouldn't really know she had asthma. We explained the triggers and even got a letter off her respiratory dr but they still wernt happy. She doesn't know yet as she would be devastated . So we are just looking at other companies. It's just so frustrating.
  7. I am just curious if anyone has been refused health insurance cover for a 457 visa. my 14 year daughter has been refused health insurance cover because of her asthma, despite obtaining a letter from her respiratory dr. Has anyone else had experience of this.

  9. I have just gone through the same difficult situation .I have 3 children and my 2 daughters wanted to emigrate but my son doesn't. The kids dad sees them 50% of the time over the month. After about 8 weeks he has finally changed his mind and come to the decision that he will let them go to Australia. i was dreading having to go through the court.my daughters are 13 and 14. its just really difficult that my son wants to stay in Scotland, but I am hoping he will change his mind. i hope that things work out for you.x
  10. Hi my 2 daughters aged 13 and 14 are going to be emigrating with me and their stepdad in September to bundaberg in Queensland. I am sure they will want to speak with other teenagers in the same position as them.

  22. Congratulations and good luck with the move etc. i am an adult recovery nurse, have been qualified nearly 5 years. Thanks for info to do with the court. I have been in contact with plexus recruitment , who sounded positive that I should be able to get a nursing post. Doing your sums do you think you will be better off.
  23. Thanks for that. Did you have to notify the court or just turn up to get them done.If I had thought I would have done that but cos of Xmas it didnt occur to me. What sort of nurse are you and have you been offered a job at all.
  24. Thanks for the reply.i emailed them bout 10 days ago , they said they hadn't got it at that point.they said I would get a confirmation email.i have not had one yet , also no payment has been taken. It was just airmail. It was over£5.00 to post . I just dred having to do it again, more trying to get everything notarised. It cost £60, but afterwards my solicitor told me that it should have cost £50 per signature. How much did your documents cost to be notarised. Now we have made the decision to make the move, I just want to know the process has commenced.
