  4. Hi all Just wondering if anyone has had any luck recently with a EOI, with only 60 points for a 489 state regional. Only wondering because that's all we have so just seeing if anyone has a story to say about there experience?

  6. Thanks all For the skills assessment they give you an oppsion to post all your stuff from the UK, and give them your sort code and card number by post, so they sort it out there end. Moneycorp is not a bank as such?? Just give you better rates than the banks. I think. So the visa card sounds good for now.
  7. Hi All Just wondering how you go about paying for small bits and bobs. Just need to pay for a skills assessment to apply for a EOI $1200 Looked at banks and it seems you can get an account open in the UK for up to a year. Is that ok? Don't want to go to deep at the mo because might not even get a EOI. cheers
  8. Its the not knowing whether you're wasting your time and money that is the biggest bug bear. Just been looking up mid north coast that looks nice as well. Don't know if your state visa lets you go up that way. Keep me posted on your progress. and I will too Good luck to you too

  17. Hi me again Global Health Source seems like a really good company, they got straight back, and offered to help when we need it. So thanks for saying about them. Hope your having a good week.
  18. Yes there are two stages, one here and one in OZ. I have been looking at jobs and some are ok with new grads. But i wouldn't bet my house on it. I'm hoping a company called Global Health Source allied health recruitment will help out a bit.
  19. We have no family in Queensland. Looking at the regions of NSW because of are visa (489 state regional)
  20. Happy sailing dinghy or crewing. Been looking at the places that have been mentioned, Lots to think about. But all good. Without your input would not of known about Urunga sailing club or Ballina ect so much appreciated.
  21. Thanks for getting back to me everyone, it really is helpful. My wife will be a Occupational Therapist (finish in 3months time) and i am a bricklayer but have been doing building maintenance for the last 13years. house refurbes, Kitchen bathrooms ect
  22. Cheer Nickynook Very good point, that's what I need to find out. Only just started looking at NSW. Backpacked through NSW years ago. 4 years ago I went to Adelaide, and Perth, on a recce, thinking that was where we would go. But then my trade came off of the SOL list (bricklayer) I got older, and the 60 points were getting harder to gain. So now its the wife turn she retrained and now she is going to be the lead applicant.
