Does that mean that everyone prior to this has a case officer allocated and jt hasn't been informed. Do they allocate case officers by date of application?

Just saw in that spreadsheet that's circulating updating all applications that someone who lodged 189 on the 25/8 got a case officer yesterday in Team 6 Adelaide!!

Tracey congrats that's is great news for you. Did you front load form80 or did they ask you for it ?

If someone from 13th August lodgement date has a case officer does that mean everyone before that must have one? Do they allocate case officers by date of lodgement? Just wondering , I didn't submit until 31/8 but trying to figure out how people who lodged around 6/8 have no case officers yet but someone from 13 th has?

Roxybird79 sorry to hear about your dog I just got Medicals and PCC done as in a rush to get there but some people do wait until case officer asks. They are valid for one year so if you don't want to go for a while best to wait.

Hi Anj i have not got this link however I did read on another forum that it can come up. If you already uploaded form 80 then you are grand. You can fill in form 80 for everyone if you like or just for whoever that link comes up for. Case officer when allocated may request form 80 s for everyone.

Visa for me I know where you are coming from. I am so stressed already don't know how I will make it through next few weeks. I am an inpatient person at the best of times... I submitted 31/8 just behind you so if I get case officer within 10 weeks that will be by mid November and then hopefully visa by mid dec. Medicals done and PCC done. We hope to fly out 14th January. I have taken 3 months of work to get ready to go oct/nov/dec. timeline is really tight .... The stress is going to kill me

I am in Ireland Our laser card (debit cards) have a daily transaction limit of €2500. Don't know where OP is from. Hope they get it sorted

Gtaylor30 it is my experience Banks will not let you lodge the money and do transaction - which is crazy . I was 2 weeks sitting with the money trying to get a bank to agree to let me spend it!!! Most of the prepaid credit cards have also a limit under 5000 euro. I could not find one over 5000. In the end our bank manager agreed but we had To submit a lot of documentation to them - almost as much as the visa application. We have had a credit card with thrm fir 5 years and never one missed payment. And we went to the meeting with 7000 cash sayin take it and let us do transaction, even then they weren't pushed...

Just saw on the 189 visa lodged thread someone who lodged on 6th August got a case officer this morning that's only 7 weeks after lodging. Great ... Fingers crossed for us all.

Hi I too had this problem as our visa being a family of five was 6800 and we only had 5000 credit limit. In the end we had to have several meetings with bank manager to agree to allow transaction through. I at the time posted in poms in oz and there were others in the same bother. It is a problem for people now due to visa price increases. Especially larger family sizes.

Hi, all my documents changed to received a couple of hours after uploading them, so don't think received means someone has collected or even looked at them. It is just the system saying it has received the upload. Good luck to all June guys left

Hi All, had Medicals today , thought I would be relieved getting one step closer but now even more worried. The doctor picked up on my 3 year old daughters mis pronouncing of a few letters as she speaks. We are not worried by this as our other two were the same and grew out if it. the doctor said that she would still put her through as A but that she would have to mention the speech delay. When I got home I checked and the organise link was gone for my other two children but not for my 3 year old. Really hope it has not been referred!!!!! Does anyone know if an A medical would still be referred? Our timeline to go in January would be not realistic at all if Medicals referred

If you had contacted them before Sept 14th and requested an extension they may have given you. Not sure now you have let that expire. All you can do is contact them with your reasons and they may be very helpful. Best of luck.

I believe it is 8-10 weeks for case officer for 189 visa. I am only on week 3 of wait good luck

Hi there i also submitted in August on the 31st. Front loaded PCC and have Medicals for our family of 5 on Monday we are hoping to be in Melbourne by January 15th so really feelin the pressure of the wait already. Hoping recent timelines of 10 weeks to get a case officer remain. Good luck to all x

Hi all Can I join the wait to keep me sane. Lodged 189 on 31/8. Have uploaded everything and have Medicals next week. We are hoping to go out to Melbourne in January! My friends in melbourne are breaking their lease and it was too goo an opportunity so we have said we will take lease over if we have our visa on time. Please god the timelines I have been watching for the last year remain and hopefully we get a caseofficer mid November and a visa before Christmas.......

Hi rammygirl. My husband has been dealing with the bank - I will make sure he said that - hope he did after all this stress. We pay our whole credit card every month by direct debit without fail for years can't believe they are being so difficult about it. Maybe a few years ago before the recession here in Ireland people would have had credit cards with large limits we could have borrowed someone's but nowadays even our more well off friends don't even have limits that high!!
