Wow, they really are dotting all the i's etc. Have now got a CO. Just asked for Form 80 for hubby, I'd already uploaded mine & our medicals are in 2 weeks. :wink:

I really don't know what's going to happen here. Can't believe there's a chance I won't get registered even though I've worked constantly as a nurse for over 20 years. Very frustrating!!

Received this from the NMC today. "Unfortunately a copy of your RN1 transcript could not be located; however I have included a copy of the EU Directive. This document outlines the successful training programme that you completed in order to be registered with this council." Had asked them for a transcript of my Nursing Degree as the uni transcript only stated pharmacology & they didn't hold any more info as I completed it back in 1991. Have no idea if this EU directive will state enough for Criteria 8. Will let you all know in due course incase anyone else is in the same boat.

Harby88 how long did it take the NMC to send on the info to AHPRA after you requested it?

Maybe your CO is on annual leave or something as simple as that. Can only sympathise about how hard the waiting is x

Wouldn't have expected that when you'd given them your marriage certificate. You just don't know what they will look for. I'm still waiting for a CO.

I gave everything again as immigration make their own assessment. Immigration also accept colour scanned copies that aren't certified though, so if you forget something it should still be fine.

I did it by email but will probably end up phoning them if I don't hear anything back just so I can check they have actually done it.

It's starting to get a bit exciting on here now. Hopefully we'll get a CO soon although meds aren't until April so there's no great rush. Oz2014 I see we sent off to AHPRA at the same time. That's the part I'm least looking forward to!!

I haven't sent the templates as they hadn't been put up until after I'd requested the additional information. I've only had the routine response from the NMC saying they aim to deal with things within 30 days. Hate not having control of this. I suppose I'll find out more once AHPRA contact me most likely looking for further info.

I sent mine to Darwin purely in the hope that they are a bit quieter. I've contacted my uni & NMC to try & get the extra proof everyone keeps getting asked for to meet criteria 2,3 & 8. My transcript that I sent to ANMAC only stated pharmacology and the uni told me they couldn't expand on this as they didn't hold that information. Am hoping the NMC can offer further information as my initial degree was completed back in 1991.
