Looks like yet another week has gone by with no news of any nurses getting their AHPRA registration. I keep hoping I'll look at this forum & see someone has been successful so we all know things are finally moving :no:

I totally understand how you feel. I had a similar thing happen where my previous team lead hadn't stated she was a registered nurse on my reference. I only found out after approx 14 weeks when ANMAC emailed me to say they'd contacted her to have this confirmed. I sincerely hope any delay you have isn't as long as mine was.

I'm still waiting. All I know is my application has been passed to the national board for assessment of my qualifications & for a final decision to be made.

From what I can remember I just sent it to the postal address. It only took around a week before I received an email saying I my application was received. Good luck.

I'd pre loaded form 80 for myself then got asked by CO for one for hubby. Kids are too young to need one. It was still the old one though that I'd completed & didn't get asked to do the new one.

We've to be over by 17/3/15, but are hoping to go this year. I'm still waiting on my nurse registration coming through then it all depends on jobs. I really want myself or hubby to secure work before we move. House is on the market so it's still more waiting :wub:

Neither myself or hubby have been asked for anything extra so far. We just provided scanned copies of our discharge papers.

I'm really sorry to hear about your mum. It must be extremely difficult being so far away from your family when something so tragic happens. You need to take the time to grieve & not make any big decisions regarding you & your family until you've had this time. I know I don't know you but my thoughts are with you x

I've also sent a copy of the form regarding criteria 3 that's now on the AHPRA website to the verification dept at the NMC for them to complete & send to AHPRA. I don't know if they've done it yet because I've not had any contact from them but I don't think there's a charge for this. If I get asked to pay extra I'll let you know.

That's good that you at least have a reason for the delay. Fingers crossed it all happens next week for you x

Think I would consider applying as I assume they've got a large backlog if people who applied last August are just getting their LOE now. Ask ANMAC to send on your file & that'll cover some of the documentation. I contacted NMC & uni at the same time I sent my application just so they'd have it before the other stuff was sent, although I think the NMC has still to send confirmation my course was verified! They're not the quickest.

Had been looking at some older timelines on here & other forums & there's quite a few that haven't had a grant until a couple of months after they've uploaded their last requested docs or medicals. There's still hope! Not much help but we really understand the strain of waiting & feeling in limbo :hug:

We're selling. Like Toodolou we plan to give this move 100% & don't intend moving back. Plus we need the money from the sale!
