  1. No problem, he always knows somebody who may have babies, good luck with finding your home x
  2. You can register with some of the bird rehoming charities, birdline, charge a yearly membership etc, but so many birds on there, also preloved, gumtree sadly have lots of scammers on their pet sections and are best to be avoided, also if you are on facebook, there are several bird pages on there for buying and selling, there is a guy i know named stuart who breeds Galah's, not sure if he has any at the mo but i can ask for you x
  3. No Snifter, happy settled back here now, may visit Australia again at some point.. You do see a lot of Galahs advertised here, but very expensive..£850 upwards... Lilly is only around 6 years old, Cassie the macaw from a baby can be sold for around£1300, and live into the 80s, people want the fancy bird and don't like it when they prefer someone else in the family or they may bite, so they just can't be bothered with them any more! Most of ours are free flying except henri who is nasty and will dive bomb and attack. poor boy!
  4. Thank you Melza, Clyde and Hughie are outside all year round, which is just as well as they can be very loud, Lilly is our gentle girl so she is with us indoors, and the others are in a bird room, hardly make any noise, just chit chat and telling each other to shut up... Cassie is very naughty, mouth like a fish wife lmao..Found outside in the winter near a fishing lake, so she does shout a lot!! xx
  5. Aww Thank you, Where are you wakeboard!

    It's over :(

So sorry to hear that, is there no other way offered to you? or is it an out right No
  11. Omg thats awful, looks so painful and raw!! Think they should ban them completely, The dangers are not worth the risk especially so young, also lower the price of spray tans, maybe more people would use those. Mind you judging by what i see, lots of people still need lessons on how to apply fake tan, stripes and blotches and tanned palms are such a popular look come summer!!

    How long?

Once we knew we were returning it was just a few weeks, We booked flights first and everything else slotted into place, The hardest part for us was sorting out our two dogs to return, From UK to Oz everything was done by the company we used, but returning we had to sort so much out and it was a bit confusing. Did we ever change our mind?... no never, we knew we were doing the right thing by returning x
  13. We used petair for everything and couldn't fault them, Took all the stress and worry away, also the day of flight they let us know how our boys were that morning

  22. He drives a lot through the day, and dreads it everyday, even when he has a week off he will try and get out of going anywhere, He did say maybe it was because he was new to Australia he felt driving easier, but he said the roads are so much wider, less junctions, easy flow of traffic.... he even enjoyed driving in Sydney in an Automatic car rather than manual lol :biglaugh:
