Could be the Convention Centre, thats where mine was. If you haven't received the invite you might be well advised to ring them back and ask them for time and place. Not all ceremonies are at Brisbane city hall.

While I would never marvel at how good BCC are, they usually have ceremonies once a month.

The two years counts from the time you apply, so yes time on a bridging visa does count.

Newish poster but long-time lurker........ Husband applied in London, lodgement date 6/6/13, temp spouse visa granted today 7/2/14 just after he told his CO he was applying for an evisitor to come out and see me in Oz CO was SV. Good luck to everyone else waiting
