  1. I have the following: Invoices that i have sent to my employer every fortnight Employer reference that i am working there as a full time contractor with my weekly duties Tax return but only for last year (includes 3 months of work in my current workplace) I can also get a document from my employer that confirms that all the invoices I have provided have been paid. Would this be enough? The problem is with my bank statements, because few times my employer has paid me cash instead of wired transfer, and if i provide bank statements these payment obviously would not be on the statement. What are my options in this situation? Are bank statements a 'must' in my case or the documents above should be enough? Thanks guys
  2. Most of the work i am claiming is from this year and I have not done any tax yet. I have got the tax for the months that I am claiming from last financial year, so i will definitely include that document. What other documents can i use?
  3. Hi guys, I am claiming 5 points for my work experience. I am currently employed as a full time contractor (getting payed on ABN). To get payed i send my employer an invoice on a fortnight basis with the services i have provided for that period. What is the best way to prove my work experience to get the 5 points? I can definitely get an employment reference letter saying that I am a full time contractor. What else can i use for this? Someone advised me to use a bank statement? Do i need to show a bank statement for a whole year or? Thanks
  4. Hi Raul, Thank you for your reply. In my situation the information that will be in the new reference will contain everything i have stated in the EOI plus extra details about my employment.
  5. The dilemma is because i went to see a migration agent in regards to this and he said to me that i can get rejected straight away for providing inconsistent information to them (worst case scenario). I posted the question here because I am not sure how to proceed with the application, should i add an explanation where I will state that i did not want to claim work experience points hence the lack of info in my EOI or i should proceed as normal?
  6. Im more than happy to re-phrase my question for those who will not understand. I am definitely not thinking to make up stuff, i am getting a genuine employment reference that will include all my day-to-day duties to prove that what i am working is a closely related to my skills assessment occupation. What I was worried is the inconsistent information between the EOI and the visa application, because in my employment reference that i will use for my visa application i will include my EOI details i've listed along with extra line of duties & responsibilities from my work. Also, my manager is willing to do a statutory declaration to confirm my employment. My question is, should i proceed with this more detailed employment reference and how Immigration usually reacts if the documents are inconsistent in the application compared with the EOI?
  7. Hello guys, I submit my EOI back in February with 55 points total counting to get 5 extra points and apply with 60 points for 190 visa. However, in my EOI i included my work experience as well which at the time was 10 months. Not knowing that if i tick the box saying "relevant experience" it will claim it automatically. Anyway, in April 12 months have passed and i received an email saying that i have 5 points extra for my experience being 1 year in relevant occupation. After that i got invited to apply for state nomination which i got approved two weeks after my application. My problem is with proving the work experience, because i did not explain fully as needed in my EOI, since i did not wanted to claim my work experience at that point. 1. Since the NSW State approved my nomination with the documents i have provided, does this mean that immigration will use those documents for the 190 visa application as well? And does it mean they will be sufficient for the application if they were for the SS?1. In my EOI and my state nomination application I have put a list of duties that I have at my workplace that are more similar to a closely nominated occupation to the one i have in my skills assessment (I have ICT Business Analyst, my work is more like Systems Analyst which is in the same ANZSCO unit group). The problem lies in the resume and my employment letter that I have used for the EOI and the state nomination application, where it says that my title is IT Support Engineer, instead of IT Systems Analyst & Support. Would it be a problem if in the visa application i get a new letter from my employer with more details of my duties in the letter? Please advice My current visa expires in about 7 days so i really need your help guys Thanks in advance
  8. Hey guys, My current temporary graduate visa expires in June, 2015 so Ive been wondering what my options are. Ive been with my girlfriend since 2009 and we just moved in together about a month ago. However, apart from pictures, we do not have any other proof such as joint bank account, utilities bills etc etc. I read on the immi website that in order to apply for this visa we need to live together at least 12 months. I was wondering, is there any chance to apply for this visa by June if we supply enough evidence until then? For example, we are going to Bali on a holiday together for NYE, we can open a bank account, put both our names on the electricity bill, register our de facto relationship etc. Is it possible at all and what do i need to do if it is? Also, immi says that the processing time for this visa is 12-15 months. I was wondering, since you are eligible to apply for permanent residency after two years, are those 15 months of being on a bridging visa included in that two year period, or its two years after the 820 visa is granted? Thanks a lot in advance guys, I hope you can provide me with some valuable information
  9. Thanks Rupert. I have booked an IELTS test on the 10th of May hoping that maybe could get 8 in each band. I was quite close the first time, but i got 7.5 in writing and speaking so maybe this time will be better. NAATI on the other hand, i made a mistake by booking the oral test instead of the written, which is by far the easier test, but unfortunately i found out his after i booked the test. I think that whoever can get 7 on IELTS can pass the NAATI exam as well. Also, what do you think of my chances to get invited for the 189 visa with only 60 points?
  10. Hi guys, Currently I have 55 total points and I miss 5 points in order to be eligible to apply for 189 Skilled independent visa. So far Ive got the following points: Bachelor Degree - 15 points Age (23) - 25 points Proficient English - 10 points 2 years Austr. Study - 5 points I did my NAATI test few weeks ago which if i pass will bring me additional 5 points and make me eligible for 189 visa, but this is a big IF because i have a really bad feeling about it. However if I fail i will probably do it again and get those 5 points eventually. My question is are 60 points enough for my EOI to be processed and be invited to apply for 189 visa? Also I was wondering if anyone know the chances of ICT Business Analyst to be on the list again in July and me being lucky in getting those 5 extra points from state nomination? And lastly, what are the chances for ICT Business Analyst to be removed from the SOL list and to end my chances of staying in Australia for next year? What do you guys recommend i Should do? Currently I am on 485 Temporary Graduate visa which is expiring next July so ive got about a year to sort out this issues. I have some experience in IT so far but it does not help because I was working while i was studying, not after so It does not count according to my agent. Also professional year is out of the questions because of my current financial situation. Thanks guys
  11. On topic, i found this on the website of my University in the info section. Visa Expiry Date The length of your current student visa, for the program you are completing, depends on the length of the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) you used to apply for your student visa: If your eCOE was less than 10 months in length, your visa is usually valid for another 28 days after your eCOE expires. If your eCOE was greater than 10 months your visa is usually valid for 2 months from the date your eCOE expires. The general exception is when your eCOE expires at the end of the academic year (after November 1): the expiry date on your student visa will usually be March 15 of the following year. If this situation applies to you, you can stay in Australia on your student visa until this expiry date. I guess according to this i am free to travel overseas and come back before the expiration of my visa and apply for 485 visa before the 1st of September.
  12. To be honest i dont think its possible to gather all the documents before 1st of September even if i dont travel overseas because of the ACS processing time. I think 485 is my only choice after i complete my course. I am seeing a migration agent tomorrow to discuss if i will be able to travel before i come back and apply for 485 visa.
  13. Well so far besides obviously the course that i am doing, i've done the IELTS but only managed to get 8 overall with 7.5 in both speaking and writing, so i will have to retake the test again because i am targeting to get 8 in each band and apply for 189 visa with 65 points. Alternatively, i can apply for 190 and get the 5 points from the state sponsorship and apply with 60 points for 190 visa, but i think the second option its not as safe as the first one, as you need to be invited by the state.. Any advice is welcome  Ultimately, i think i will have to apply for temporary residency only because as i mentioned in the first post, i will get my transcript in mid-july, and only then i can apply for skills recognition with ACS which i will need in order to apply for any of the visa's that ive mentioned above. For that document i will have to wait from 8 to 12 weeks which is around October, 1-2 months after my visa expiration.
  14. Hi guys, i would really appreciate if you can help me out on my situation here. At the moment i am holding a subclass 573 student visa that is due to expire on the 1st of September, 2013. At the moment i am doing the last semester of the course, and i am expected to finish my exams on the 5th of June. It will take additional 3 weeks to get my results, and if its all good, another 3 weeks to get the transcript from the University. Now what i was wondering is, am i allowed to leave the country and go overseas in June after my exams, and come back in August before my visa expires? I've heard that your visa expires automatically 28 days after you ifnish your course, but from an un-reliable source, so i am not sure whether its true or not. I would probably be back around mid August and have 2 weeks to do my medical checks and collect all the necessary paperwork in order to apply for the next visa. Btw my CoE expires on the 1st of July. My biggest fear would be to come back in August and get rejected on the entry in Australia. I want to be sure i dont mess up things. I would really appreciate if someone can help me out on this. Let me know if you need more details Thanks
