<p>I have been going to this one for well over a year now, quite a lot of them have moved over to oz and there are about 5 families left now, so we have become good friends and meet up every 2-3 months, if you ever want to come along you are always welcome. Im just wondering did you go to the one in the Rocking Horse pub in Aintree last year, cos we were there xx</p>

<p>Noticed you are still looking at lots of areas to move to, its a really difficult one, spoke to hubby and the reccie is definitely going ahead now for August, just trying to sort out some kind of itinerary, will almost certainly stay up in terrigal as a base and i have found a geogous house to rent for 2 weeks and will just have a good look around, will also probably go down to the south of sydney and look what it is like there. The hardest thing though is you dont exactly know where you are going to be working, if you had a job it would make it so much easier on deciding where to live. <p>Hi Lynne, things are good with my daughter, she is now 18 weeks. She has her next scan in 3 weeks and wants to know what she is having. Her boyfriends visa has been submitted so its the waiting game now, but we have been told it shouldnt take any longer than 12 week. We are busy trying to find them somewhere to rent, sort out a wedding, which she wants before the baby is born, then there will be our reccie, then a christening, lol, the list is endless. We are going to need a bloody big bank loan to pay for all this. Need to make a decision next week when is going to be the best time to move over, we need a proper plan now and stick to it. Ive got work on my case, trying to give me a promotion with a big pay rise but will also have to increase my hours, but i dont want to waste their time being trained if im going to leave a few months after taking the job. Thats not in my nature and would rather stay in my job now, which is quite cushy. Enjoy your weekend and catch you soon xxx</p>

<p>Hi Lynne, hows things, just spotted your post on rethinking on Melbourne, dont let one episode put you off hun, there seems to be lots of people who have emigrated there and seem to be very happy. We are now deciding between Sydney and Melbourne, cos not much work for hubby in brissie where i wanted to originally go, but we have to go where the work is, so we have decided to do a reccie and go to sydney, going to look about an hour north of sydney as houses are cheaper. Hope you make the right decision and thinking of you. How is that lovely grandson of yours doing, bet your not looking forward to leaving him behind, take care xxx</p>

<p>Hi Melanie, was talking to my friend Nik this morning on skype, she is the one that lives in avoca beach. Asked her again about the travel times, her hubby works in North Ryde, just north of cbd and it is 1 hour door to door, he is now looking for another job in the cbd and she said it will be 1hr 30mins door to door. It does take her 20 mins to get from avoca beach to gosford train station, so if you lived nearer the main train line then it would be a better commute. She said it is absolutely gorgeous in the area she lives though and house prices and rentals are very reasonable. Hows things going, any news on the house xxx</p>

<p>Really looking forward to thursday myself Lynne, im sure i will shed a tear too. Yes she is in contact everyday with Danny, they are always on skype, ive spoken to him a few times and speak with him on Facebook, so he hasnt disappeared off the scene. I will feel much better when he is back here though. Im hoping that we dont have to do a reccie, cos will cost us about £10k as we will have to go in August, havent really got that kind of money for a holiday, but time will tell and will have to see a bit nearer the time. Whereabouts you heading to in Melbourne xx</p>

<p>My xmas was good Lynne. My daughter is doing OK, she has her 1st scan next thurs, so im taking some time off work to go with her. Her partner is still not back in the UK, trying to sort out the visa stuff for him, but we have appointed an agent and he said once submitted can take between 2-12 weeks so not too bad. Havent decided yet whether we are going to move out end of Aug (need to validate by 10 sept) or do a reccie and go the following year, just going to leave it as long as we can as try and get as much sorted for my daughter as we can, housing and she has said she wants to get married before we go and there would be the christening, so much and so expensive, lol, but I would feel better if she is settled xx</p>
