<p>Hi Racht, not spoken in a while, hows things going in Melbourne, you settling in OK and whereabouts have you settled. We have now got our visa and hoping to be over there in the next 6 months, getting quotes from shippers next week and quotes for shipping our dog over. Not sold our house so looks like we will be renting that out too, but just want to move now. Catch up soon xx</p>

<p>Hi Nik, thanks for asking but no, not feeling any better really, another day off work, which is not like me, got next week off too, to recover. Nothing on the house front unfortunately, thinking more and more about renting now, got someone coming out tomorrow and another next thursday to give us ideas of monthly rental rate. Going to give the house until xmas I think and then if nothing, which cant see anything happening now, will rent out. Wanted to chat to you about the rental side, when you have a minute will skype you. Hope you are all ok xxx</p>

<p>Hi Lisa, not bad thanks, off work sick today, nursing a very bad cold, but hey ho life goes on. Not much happening here, cant sell the house so thinking of renting out now, got couple of letting people coming out next week to see if it is feasible for us to do it. Now we have the visa we just want to get there. </p>

<p>Thanks Cath, we are so excited and relieved, but there is a tinge of sadness for all those who have been affected again by the recent changes. My heart goes out to you, I always say to Stu, that the one person I feel for the most is yourself. You have had one hell of a journey and I pray that it wont be too long before you sort this out. Good luck with the court order and then hopefully the Visa wont be too far behind. Thinking of you xxxxxxxxxxxx</p>

<p>Hi Nik, just to let you know the meds were fine, no problems with any of us, thank god, just hope the xrays and bloods come back fine. Still not heard from the agent, so still feel like im in limbo with regards a CO, it is bank holiday here on Monday so going to be middle of next week now before we hear anything, well I will just have to be patient, mind you used to that now.</p>

<p>Hi Sharon, pleased that you have met Karen and Sue, I know Claire will be in touch when Ollie is better, spoke with her earlier and he is still quite poorly, been off school all week. Sorry to hear that hubby is finding it difficult to get work but am sure something will come along soon, keep everything crossed for you. Also pleased to hear that the boys are settling well in the high school and you are pleased with it yourselves, that gives me more hope now that we will move to the Island.</p>

<p>Still waiting for CO, cant really say on visas, they seem to be taking forever, it seems to be all the HR countries that are getting the visas with the odd UK one slipping thru. God knows how long we are going to wait and DIAC have announced that there are more major changes coming soon, so dont know when we will get there.</p>

<p>Hi Scousers, just read on the homesick thread that you were back here in the UK for three weeks, just curious as to are you here in lovely Liverpool, if so which are you visiting. I live in Aintree and awaiting our visa and to sell our house. Enjoy your holiday back in the UK and hope that the weather is kind to you xx</p>

<p>Evening Nik, you having another late night, lol, hows things, all OK in the Carroll household, still no CO or no house sale, lol, just plodding on as usual xxx</p>

<p>we applied for our visa mid Mar 09, 4.5 months now, but hubby occ is on the CSL so am hoping we get a CO fairly soon, mind you we still have a house to sell, and no interest there, so looks like it could be a while before we get to oz. Just realised you are from Birmingham, Karen is also from just outside Lichfield. Enjoy your coffee with the girls, im sure Claire will keep me informed. </p>
