<p><p>There used to be quite a few meets, but no-one seems to organise these days, maybe its something you could look at doing ???? We used to hold them all over but Ian Dipple Lagoon at Labrador was the most popular as there was a park, beach, food, etc so catered for all ages really.</p></p>

From the day we arrived hubby has worked for the Gold Coast company shown on the show and we live in an area we discovered with the BBC but it wasnt on the show, so far and 5 years in ,i wouldnt change a thing,,lol x</p></p></p></p></p>

<p>Lots of familys rent for a few weeks in somewhere like the holiday village and have a good look around the different suburbs to see where to rent for 6mths.I wouldnt advise commiting to a 6mth rental until you have personally viewed both it and the area. Brisbane holiday village give a different rate if you stay 4 weeks or more so ask when you enquire. Yell if you get stuck and i will help all i can.</p>

<p>I am fully booked until mid February sorry. Am i correct in thinking its just and your wife? If so have you tried Brisbane Holiday Village? They have furnished cabins which are quite nice and of course have a pool etc (Jan is hot, hot ,hot)for your use. If you have no joy there ,let me know and i will see if can source something else for you.</p>
