Hell! Yes I would say that that describes it! I was probably a few weeks off a CO and now well it feels like I'm being leapfogged because WA and DIAC haven't pulled their finger out yet. :(

Fingers crossed for you. The press release about ACT SMP said that the other states SMP's were coming out in a matter of weeks.

You and me both hun.... the way DIAC WERE progressing you and I were likely to have got CO's/ Visa's this month... fat chance now

4 times now the bloody rug has been pulled when we've thought we were close...but this is the closest we've been so feeling particularly gutted this time....

Just want my kids to meet their grandparents and vice versa... would like to see my mum, sister and brother again - it's been nearly 11 years :frown:

I really think all the states should have released their SMP's together... although in all honesty the whole bloody system stinks and all applications should just be done in date order... they either want you or they don't... they could have had alot more of us there by now, contributing to their economy if they didn't spend so much time phaffing around with the system -delaying everyone's applications!! Bloody muppets couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery!

Stupid question but how do we know if we have a CO? Also, if you have an agent, can you still email Adelaide and ask for an update?

If i was you i would stay up to 10:30PM tonight and speak to Adelaide direct and ask them the open question "What prioirty is my application sitting at?" You can still call them even if you have an agent as long as you have your ref number or TRA number.

If you have an agent they would get the email confirmation of a case office so would be up to agent to let you know. Even when Adelaide confirm your level of priority, if you think you should be cat 2 now ask the operator if your application has been selected for review, because they can see on the system if a case officer is reviewing it before they actually send out the confirmation email, this is what happened to me. the operator confirmed my prioirty level as been 2 and then said "A case officer has been assigned is doing the initial checks and you will be contacted soon" Some operators wouldnt have told you this unless you asked.

As i mentined in another post it is pot luck witht the competency of the operator so that is why it is worth calling in every few weeks. Obvioulsy this is only my opinion but it has helped me keep some sanity for the last 12 months.

Thank you so much! What number would I have my husband call?

00 61 1300 364 613

If not using skype or other international calling method call bang on 10.30PM when they open otherwise you may be in a queue for a while and the call is expensive. On average you need to allocae about 10 mins which could cost you £10 ish.

OK I'm multiple posting (sorry to those of you this will annoy )

Connie - please edit my details and put me down as having a CO !!!!

I think DIAC must have had my file in the coffee room for the last few days laughing at all the evidence I sent to prove we were De facto.

Maybe that's why we did not hear earlier about a CO - I was getting a bit worried they had forgotten me.

But we have heard now that we have a CO :jiggy:

So excited I can't tell you all.

The only thing that would make me happier is that all of the people I know on PIO and have stories I have followed were on this thread listed with a CO as well.

Of course I still need something to worry about :wubclub:

Now I have been comfort eating this last year - am I going to be OK for the BMI at the health test? All Wolla Bolla's fault with those fig rolls.:swoon:

The rest of you SMP'ers to be who are still waiting for yuor states to announce :arghh:

I will warm up the CO for you so that when you get him he speeds your application through very quickly. you will be here soon.

A very, very happy

VickyMel :jiggy:
