Hi golden777, If you lodged your 175 application before 01/07/2010, you can convert 175 to 176. If you lodged your 175 application on or after 01/07/2010, you cannot convert it. You must re-submit another 176 application after gaining state sponsorship. So I cannot understand why QLD and DIAC could confirm your sponsorship at that time. If you are not able to get the full point, your case might be put into the 175 POOL.
