zoranl Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 Hi guys, Just a small update on my case. I raised a PLE to DIAC on July 01, 2011 regarding the status of my application. I noted in the PLE that I applied for the visa on August 23, 2010 and that I haven't heard anything regarding my status except the March 18 email. And that I am kindly asking for the update on the status of my application. Also asked them whether the CO will be allocated shortly or maybe I have one assessing my case already. They have replied today this, quoting: "Dear Client, Thank you for your email in relation to your visa application under Australia's General Skilled Migration program. Your enquiry has been referred to your case officer for their attention and appropriate action. For any further enquiries about the application you have lodged please refer to our website using the following link General Skilled Migration Post-Lodgement Enquiry Form Yours sincerely" So I guess I have the CO. I don't think it will be a longer wait all that has happened is Cat 1 has now been split into cat 1 and cat 2 so they have had to add another Category that being Cat 5 Cat 1 is regional Cat 2 is Ens Cat 3 is SMP Cat 4 is Sol Cat 5 all others meaning occupations not on the sol Before Regional and Ens were both Cat 1 Thanks Tania Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hey Don't panic! We are 176 Family sponsored and on the SOL list. We have just been moved from Priority Cat 3 to Priority Cat 4. Our agents have confirmed that we are now in Priority Cat 4. Last Friday I raised a PLE about the status of my application. I got the answer that my enquiry was referred to my case officer. Three days later I got the grant.
