Guest Sparnoonchris
I also contacted DIAC by email on July 23rd and got a reply YESTERDAY! It simply said, that their notes on our file, note that we received a reply to the question on Aug 6th by telephone (true - we rang them BECAUSE we hadn't had an email reply!) So their own expected turnaround time of responding to emails in 5 working days is way out of whack now - probably due to unprecedented queries lol Same here, received an answer today to a PLE sent on 25th July - no real info - just confirming that we are in cat 3 and a load of links to various DIAC sites about priorities, health checks etc, all the stuff that most of us have had ample time to read since lodging! Guest jains005
I was thinking the same thing Jodie... yes it is great to see people who have been waiting and waiting for so long to get their CO's. But to be honest, I really was expecting to see things moving quicker. It would seem that most of the old CSL's have been granted and since they stopped taking applications in May until July then this would make sense. I doubt that there are too many Cat 1 applications....So.... yeah.... what are they doing lol. I wonder how many people are working at DIAC actually processing our applications. They boast they are granting how many hundreds of visa's a day, but to WHO! I know not all applicants will come on PIO but I would have expected SOME PIO 'ers to be getting grants and I can't remember when I last saw a CAT 3 applicant getting a grant (bar one last week!) i too find it's going quite slow. but when i think from a different way i dont want CO before the migration policies on priotity are stable after the new govt comes in. what if i am again unallocated co after doing medicals and pcc once again??? so my thinking is i should get co only after things are stable
Guest offbeat
Hi Guys Connie and I have been conferring and thought it would be good to have a bit of a summary of all these time lines she has been collating in this thread. It also means we can see at a quick glance the general state of play for all of us in CAT 3. (The idea for doing this, this way comes from Taz2008 and Vickymels very useful Cat 5 thread which to all intents and purposes is null and void because of the July 14th changes..) I have copied all the data from page 1 of this thread and put it into a spreadsheet. Hopefully I have transcribed everyone's details correctly, but if I have made any errors, please drop me a PM and I will amend. This also includes me denoting High Risk ® and Low Risk © applicants and have used information Connie very kindly went searching the net for, for me...if I have got the risk status of your country wrong, please also PM to amend. FINALLY... Anyone new wanting to add their timeline, can you use this little template that now includes high risk or low risk country id with ® denoting HIGH and © denoting LOW. GGx0x0
With regards to the allocation of COs at ASPC. I thought that the cat 1 applicants were dealt With somewhere else? Can anybody clarify this for me please? Hello JK2510 Yes as far as I know Category 1s are processed somewhere else. This is what our agent emailed us. As ENS/RSMS applications are not processed by ASPC and there are currently NO SMP's in place I believe that your application is currently top priority at ASPC. Then why are they going so slow!!!:arghh: Regards Connie
