Hi Tracey

If you check out the details on the front page Kelly has all the people who post their details listed in date order

http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/71250-priority-processing-groups-1-4-where-u-now.html#post603606

Plus I did a bit of a condensed update by month on page 6

http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/71250-priority-processing-groups-1-4-where-u-now-6.html#post606590

In Priority 4 the thread has 2 people who applied in September and one of these already has their Case Officer - so things are moving swiftly at the moment!

All Priority 4 applicants listed in this thread prior to September (except the one exception) have case officers already.

I wonder if things will slow down as people start supplying their meds and PCCs and COs have to start processing those as well as new applications.

Any Priority 1-4 lurkers on this thread please consider joining - it would be good to see these trends if they happen and only numbers will bring that.

Hi,

we are a priority 4 and submited our 175 application beginning of June and have still do not have a CO, should we be worried.

Yes!! I think you should be worried as from the information I have gathered I have understood that the applicants for the 4th category who have lodged their application at the September end have been already allocated a CO. Send a PLE

Cheers

Hi all.

OCT 2009 applicant here and this thread is awesome! Thank you Kelly for actively maintaining and for all of you for keeping it well and truly kicking. I've done on-line application and got a lodgement datem but am yet to upload my supporting docs. What date do you consider to be the actual 'application date'? The completion of the on-line app process and hitting the 'submit' button where they take payment? or is it the date when you complete uploading scanned copies of all suppoting documents (excep Meds & PCC of course!)?

kyeandgem, PLE is Post Lodgement Enquiry.

People in DIAC must love acronyms! Every single thing gets one!

Hi,

We also submitted in early June and have not heard yet (175, CSL). On the Aussie Timeline, it looks as if we should be allocated case officer fairly soon. The 176's are the ones getting a CO after just one month.

The date that I call 'application date' is when you lodge your application.....Would you like to join the front page timeline? If you can provide me your details in the same format as shown on the front page, that would be Fab....

Good Luck with the rest of your visa journey.....Keep in touch.....:chatterbox:

Hi,

I didn't want to post on the 'what would you say to the minister' thread (all v serious debate right now!) but on page 59 (no 586) George has posted a letter dated 29th october from DIAC to applicants.......it doesn't say anything new and in fact is probably the letter we deserved a month ago.

Just wondered if anyone has received this? I haven't.

However, these changes have not affected the

requirements to be satisfied for the grant of a visa.

I particularly like this quote in black and white on the letter. I have been worrying a bit lately that with all these changes they might suddenly ask for an extra hoop to leap through or change the rules around me. So in theory if i'm all 'met' today then it's just a matter of waiting.....

Hi Sarah

No this is the first I have heard of it - we have not received it yet.

I think you should be fine as Priority 1-4 CSL - maybe you will not even get the letter?

Hope you hear soon !

I think we have to be mindful of what they mean by 'requirements' ?

I don't know if by that they mean that it doesn't change the criteria for a visa, but doesn't mention anything explicitly about processing timelines.

Hi,

dont feel so worried now, spoke to our agent (visa bureau) and they told me the average time at the moment for a 175 CSL is approx 5 months from the date of application to receiving a CO. Ours is coming up to 5 months next week so if we have not heard anything within a fortnight the agent will be chasing DIACs for us.

thanks

Update from Front Page

As things were moving fast I couldn't resist another update...

Since the last update

We have a couple more Visas Granted - HURRAY!!

ElisaMA chased up her Jan application, which did not appear to have a CO, she posted on the thread earlier today to say that she now has her CO - Congratulations! I hope things move swiftly for you now.

Again in compiling the update I have made assumptions in a couple of cases that people who have been asked to get the meds and PCCs have Case Officers.

Kelly maybe we could have a "CO allocated: " row in the details?

Priority 1: ENS/RSMS

Sept: Applicants 2, CO 1,

Priority 2: CSL + SS

June: Applicants 2, CO 1,

July: Applicants 4, CO 1,

Aug: Applicants 1, CO 1,

Oct: Applicants 2, CO 0,

Priority 3: CSL + Family

Sep: Applicants 1, CO 1,

Priority 4: CSL

Jan: Applicants 1, CO 1,

April: Applicants 1, CO 1,

May: Applicants 4, CO 4, Visa Granted 3

June: Applicants 4, CO 1,

Sept: Applicants 4, CO 2,

Oct: Applicants 3, CO 0,

For full details take a look at the first page of this thread http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migrat...ere-u-now.html

If you are Priority 1-4 please post your details in this thread so that Kelly can add you and we can get a better idea of what is happening.

Type & Date Visa submitted:

Date medicals & P/C's uploaded:
