We lost him for a few hours and then he turned up on the patio. Mr M was able to lift him up on the end of a brush pole and place him in the box while I closed the lid. Then we carried him away from the house. My friend at work has one living in the roller door of her shed, ha ha ha. These guys are not fussy where they park themselves.

Metoo
We can’t find him now, will have to wait until it gets dark as he hides during daylight hours. Daughter was excited to see him back, she loves the wild life but ‘Brian’ is a bit too wild for my liking.

Metoo
Yes @Toots we were a bit freaked at first but now we have lived with him for a couple of weeks we know his likely hiding places. As you can see in the photo, Mr M can pick him up without using the broom handle now

This banter is doing me good, as still a bit worried about husband who insists he is now fine. I was speaking to grandson in UK on face time yesterday who was showing me his soft toy collection . He found the concept of my teddy bear being over 65 years old hilarious.

Metoo
Now the nights are getting a bit cooler, Brian has taken to hiding out inside the BBQ for longer periods. However, a snake still has to eat so here he is on the lookout for some supper

Metoo
I have never seen a snake kill or eat it’s prey before. I felt very sorry for the bat, it was alive for about 10 minutes. eurghhh indeed 1
