27May2016 Posted May 15, 2017 Share Posted May 15, 2017 I'm guessing if you apply in a restaurant where it's busy but not enough turnovers and CO can see that theirs no need to sponsor in that region your chances is slim. But if it's a resort, hotel or pub where the revenue of the company is not solely coming from the restaurant and they showing lots of turnovers coming from accomodation, casinos, package tour, etc you have a good chance. For example, in the pub I used to work before the restaurant is not making any profit but we still need to operate because of the people playing pokie machines and the business revenue is good coming all from all this pokies machine. Another example is the 4 star hotel I used to work before too. I'm the breakfast chef there and breakfast is cheap we don't earn profit but we still need to open coz of the guest staying in the hotel that needs breakfast in the morning. They won't stay there if they knew they have to dress up and walk a few kilometres just to get breakfast, so we need to open even it's not making any money, but if you look at the hotels revenue a day it's $20,000.
