Hey @millski88 did you see the status change or get the email first? I want to envision mine coming through!

I was gonna ask the same! For anyone who's been granted really. If no further docs have been requested, have you seen your status change from received or is it more, you look at it and your status is received and then the next time you look the status has changed to finalised?

I got two immi grant notification emails with attachments, one for me and one for my partner. I presume because of this my partner doesn't know yet (hehe) so I'm planning on surprising her with it as soon as I knock off today!

Funnily enough my status in immi online did change to 'Finalised' but then changed back to Received... I think it's being processed through the database for the site, as the grant letters appear next to the status of 'Received'... weird.

Yeah same for two 457's. Wondered it its worth logging into Immi every 4 hours but it seems the best bet is to just wait for the emails!!

Hello everyone,

Did you guys see this?

"To 30 April this year the Australian government had granted 138,086 permanent visas divided broadly into two-thirds skilled, one-third family (and excluding humanitarian visas, which sit outside the migration program figure). “It’s probably down on where we were this time last year,” a first assistant secretary for the Department of Home Affairs department, Christine Dacey, told estimates last month. Extrapolated to the full year ending 30 June, it appears likely about 165,000 migration visas will be granted."

Hope everyone gets the golden email soon! We are still waiting for ours ?
Cheers,

Nora

Hey Nora, thanks for sharing this. If this is true then they expected to grant another 30,000 almost over May and June, and delivered an average of 13,000 per month over the rest of the year. As I'm typing this I've realised that means they plan to continue operating at the same speed they have the rest of the year. I guess at this time of year it could go one of two ways based on their targets, either they'll need to put a lot of grants through to hit targets, or they'll slow down to reduce targets for next year.

Nomination 12 months today. Visa launched last week of June.

The business used our MA partner for the nomination side and I did my own for the application.

We sponsor around 150 people a year.

Hi Parkesy

looks like a lot of Marketing Specialist being approved this round so I think your should mt be to long.
