What does SAF stands for?

Skilling Australian fund (SAF) has been introduced to replace Training Benchmark requirement. Anyone applied 457 or 186 Visa need to fulfil this requirement. In this, if you are a small business with turnover less than 10 million, need to pay $3000 into this fund for 186 visa and business over 10 million fee will be $5000.

Hi Louisa,  congratulations on getting a sliver email.  Did you receive email from immigration regarding your application processing?  Is it possible to update your signature with ENS 186 visa and Nomination date, It will be very helpful for other applicants.

Thank you and Happy Easter.

Yes, we got the email at 4 April, then we uploaded our health check and AFP last week and my employer updated the financial report last Wednesday. My employer applied nomination at June 2018. I applied our application at Feb 2019.

Hi Everyone

My boss just called and advised my PR has been granted, absolutely delighted and surprised that they did not request a new medical as ours was completed in July 2017 - we had a refused nomination prior to this application.

Straight out approval - no request for anything further

Also very surprised we got granted on Good Friday (public holiday)

My MA agent received the email on 4/4/19 advising will be allocated soon.

Thank you everyone in this forum, this is a great community with so much help, advice and support.

Wish you all the very best.... now a nice long weekend to celebrate 🙂🇦🇺

7 years in Australia and now finally a permanent resident - buzzing!

Hello there 🙂

Congrats! Did you send your medicals along with the application? Or did you only submit your medicals after they requested for it?

I have been asked for more information for my 186 DE ENS visa application. I have competed form 80 for myself and my family, uploaded proof my children are dependant and in the family unit. I have been asked for Australian Police Check but have only been to Australia on holiday 3 times most being 12 days and have lived in the UK since birth. How can I contact Immi to inform them. I have 8 more days to send information.

I applied September 2018

nomination was approved March 2019.

Thanks

Tight time frame to work with! You should check how you can get the police check from overseas and the time it takes.

I would try to call them and also send an email. If all fails, you should be able to upload additional documents through immi, which could explain that you have only visited Australia very short times. Also, if you can find, your travel dates. They should be able to check that internally.

but yeah, getting in contact to verify this would be the best.
