  1. Hi guys, I dont have good news to share about my PR186 application. I applied in June 2018 and my company (Adriano Zumbo) came into liquidation Dec 2018. Hence, as of June 2019, the company and I have decided to withdraw both nomination and application. I have thus lost almost 10k. (6k of legal fees & 3k+on application) This forum has been great help to me. It was nice knowing there are many out there going through the same thing as me because it is kind of hard for close friends and family to understand what PR mean to us. Below are some advices I would like to give to anyone who needs it because I wished I took the same precautions before applying. I paid 6k of legal fees to my migration agent upon lodgement. And trusted him to have accessed the financial documents given to him by the company. He has been the company lawyer for many years. I have not seen the documents at all. But within half a year, my company (Adriano Zumbo) came into liquidation. It was truly devastating for all of us. But beyond that, I believe there was a mistake in judgements. Financial documents prepared by my company was probably not up to date at all. Otherwise, why would a company come into liquidation within half a year? For those who observe shaky financial situations in your respective companies, please take matters into your own hand! No one cares about your application more than you do really. Also, I do not know how it works for migration agent, but in retrospect, paying 6k without any promised result was a big mistake. On 1st July, after waiting for more than a year, I emailed nse.pse@homeaffairs.gov.au requesting updates on my application. My lawyer received updates on the nomination the next day. This could be a coincidence but just give it a try guys. There's nothing to lose. I was nice and polite in the email. Good luck guys. I wish you guys all the best in your applications.
  2. Any pastry cooks/cooks approval recently? It's so disheartening I applied since June 2018 but have not received the email that everyone has been talking about and am starting to get worried My occupation has been transferred to the short term list and I cant help but wonder if this means that they are no longer accepting cooks!!!
  3. Hello there Congrats! Did you send your medicals along with the application? Or did you only submit your medicals after they requested for it?
