One of my friend's was on 457 visa and he couldn't get required ENGLISH score to apply 186 visa. Before his 457 visa expired he applied to again new 457 Visa. So after he applied 457 visa he got 5 each on PTE and loged 186 Visa Apllication(before 1st july)So some says "he can apply to 186 Visa if he is on Bridging Visa"some says"NO CANT"What do you guys think about.it? They checked and confirmed that everything's in order however we've had to wait 16 months + as there are much older applications yet to be processed. It doesn't make any sense considering they're processing 2017 now. I do see that 2017 applications getting through are engineer roles. Submitted decision ready - 3 may 2016 Extra docs submitted - August 3 No response even after 1.5 months. All we can do is hope! Cheers!
