Hi Guys,

Anyone else from May 2016 still waiting? DE Marketing Specialist, HR, 2ppl, submitted decision ready on May 12 2016- CO assigned on July 26 2017 & requested additional documents, submitted them on July 27 2017 and haven't heard anything back in over a month.

I've read that when CO asks for additional documents, they put the application back in the waiting line- not very sure and don't know how long before someone picks it up. Anyone experienced anything similar?

Thanks

You might ask your MA to send a follow up email to CO.

Hi guys . Pls anyone can help me , is there any way to check visa applications only . My 5 month start for visa applications, nothing heard since apply on 27 April 2017. . Really appreciate thanks

Hi mate u can surely check it by creating an immi account on immigration website and then importing your application into your account using your TRN number. But I hope that don't have to wait as long as few of us have been , We share the same date of the timeline but with an year difference , so basically I applied on 27 April 2016 and still haven't heard anything yet , have tried calling immi asking god updates but no help ... god knows what they are doing with our applications but that's the sad reality unfortunately , seems like they have forgotten all about us. Hi guy, a quick question. Do I need to include the Form 80 for every single member  of the family including myself?

Many thanks

Hey @186TR_May17

Some people haven't uploaded it and had their application approved....others have been requested to submit it and end up waiting an extra month....

I've uploaded one for all applicants, as its better to do it now and have the application ready, as opposed to risking it and then having that request come into you inbox, but thats just me personally.

Hope this helps

Hi guys. I have been following this forum for a couple of months now, hoping to get some rough ideas of the time frames for 186 visas.

I only did my application on the 30th March 2017 (nomination on the 29th March 2017). Feels like I've been waiting forever. I feel bad for the people that have been waiting for over a year and still haven't had any news.

Is it just the 187 visa applications that are taking this long or is it the 186 visas as well?

I keep checking the 186 time sheet but not sure if it gets updated frequently or not.

Also I decided not to use a MA, hope it doesn't come back and bite me in the arse!! :/

Hi there, I'm new here but was following forum for last few months, I have applied for nomination on 12/11/16 for 186 visa and on 17/11/16 applied for visa . Got nomination approved on 1/06/17 but still waiting for visa, tried contacting immigration, replied saying CO has not allocated. It's been 3 months that nomination approved so frustrating. Is anyone here with same situation pls reply

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great week. Like everyone else here, I'm in the waiting game for the PR and it really does put my life and my family in stress due to the uncertainty. Hopefully we all will get to hear some good news soon.

I would like to ask everyone if you all are aware if the immigration department will check our tax documents as a process to approve the  PR? The reason is because I filled my tax last week with our tax agents and I realised for the past 3 years, my tax was filed under a different occupation code than my 186 application. I asked the agent and he told me it's fine but I'm just feeling very nervous about this. As you all can imagine, all these small details freaked me out and I don't want this to be the reason my application is rejected.

And also,  do you all have an alternative plan in case the application is rejected? (*touch wood*) I'm just constantly worried and feel that maybe I need to find another backup plan like looking out for other options in other country, get ready with uprooting my family. My 457 will end next year June and if I do not get an answer by then we will be in bridging visa. And if my application is rejected when I'm on a bridging visa, I will need to leave the country in 1 month time? That is really not a lot of time to leave and look for another option hence I'm thinking about it now. I don't see many rejection on the spreadsheet which gives me a sense of positivity.

Thank you all for your advice and I'm so glad I found this forum. It has given me immense support to work through the day hopeful that we get a good news soon.

Yea mate I'm still waiting from April 2016 and I did call immi last to last week but they said the same thing that it's still not allocated and it's not just my application that in the waiting there's few others as well so we will just have to wait . And I also sent them an email last week which brought no response other than that automated reply email. So frustrated by this wait and immi'sway of handling applications ..... god knows how long still we have to wait ...[emoji31][emoji31][emoji31][emoji37][emoji37][emoji57][emoji35][emoji35]

My employer called immi 4 times but of no use.
My MA sent an email to immi last week explaining the urgency of my position and also attached the project schedule document to it.
He received the reply today as below:
“We have considered your priority request based on the information you have provided. Your request for priority processing has been declined. The ENS/RSMS business area processes visa applications in order of date of lodgment.

I am sure you can appreciate, most applications come with their own unique set of circumstances and are often lodged with claims of urgency. Please trust that we are also eager to progress your application as quickly as possible”.

So with this I came to a conclusion that it is totally waste of time emailing them or contacting them. They just do what they like and don’t bother about anyone.
We are reaching 13 months now. Hoping to hear some good news soon.

Don't worry.. I'm sure you'll get it soon! Your occupation is on the good list so I guess you'll get it in the coming weeks..

However... how do they dare to say they're reviewing in order of lodgement date...
Although they're reviewing apps between April 2016 and June 2017...[emoji856]

One of my friend's friend applied 186trt this Jan 17 as a hairdresser. Received visa recently. I think it is all depends on attached documents on nomination lodgement time. My MA told me he attached all documents with lodgement time. But truth is he lied. He attached declaration forms, 80 forms recently when I told him many times. So I am suffering bcz of his mistakes. Some of them so mean who don't care even after we paid them.
